The best coffee that you will find in the area. A pleasant ambiance, especially in winter months when the fire and hot drink is a very welcome retreat from swirling mist. If you want a little privacy head up to the mezzanine level where you are likely to be on your own. Friendly staff complete the picture. A good stop.

This coffee shop is a real gem, with great coffees, tasty treats and wonderful ambiance. It is very popular with the locals as well, because one can sit and chat or work at the bench with laptop points while enjoying the view.

What an inviting spot to kick back and enjoy a cappucinno in the Midlands.Lineage Coffee is situated in the Coffee & Life Building behind the Spar in Nottingham Road.The interior layout really caters for your every whim. Couch areas, tables and chairs, workstation area with wifi, mezzanine level. A fire for those chilly midlands days and floor to ceiling glass doors allowing lots of natural light into the space will add another dimension on warm days when the doors are all open!Pastries - chocolate & plain croissants, custard and cinnamon danishes were on offer.The barista, Mfna, was friendly, knowledgeable and made us superb cappuccinos and were introduced to a Cortado too. Highly recommended.

Super-relaxing coffee date spot. My wife and I had such a chilled chat in the sun with a cappuccino and chocolate croissant each. The furniture is all extremely tasteful high quality wood from a place in the Midlands called Homewood. The service is excellent. Very easy to tip.It is tasteful, modern and cosy. I will definitely go there again.
