Requested their services for a blocked sewage line. Two guys came out and fiddled with some sticks for about 15 min and said they cleared the blockage, which was described as mostly being clogged with toilet paper. I was happy with the service and paid almost R900.Exactly two months to the day - the exact same blockage occurred (unknowing that it was at the same area). Called them and explained about the blockage and how it was supposedly cleared last time. The same guys came out and in about the same time as before was spent unblocking the area. I'm happy because my plumbing problems are gone.Here is where it gets frustrating. A day later I get invoiced another almost R900 for the unblocking of a clog that was supposed to be cleared the first time. I am no plumber but if a clogged pipe is unblocked then surely it should remain that way for at least longer than 2 months. Especially if you are not wrecklessly chucking large objects down the toilet or drain. We are only two people living in the house and are very conscious about what we flush and throw down the drain because of this experience.After reasoning with Home Plumbing Services about the second invoice for work done on the exact same area, apparently blocked drains are not guaranteed". So either drains block every 2 months or the first blockage was not adequately cleared. But apparently it does not work this way. I wouldn't have minded paying a travel fee for the second call out but being invoiced twice for working
