My new chill spot. A hidden gem in the heart of Muizenberg. Their cocktails are devine and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. I can't believe I didn't know about this stunning place and as you can see their décor is absolutely spectacular.

Can't believe I didn't know this Mexican restaurant was so close all this time. I loved my dinner, nachos with refried beans. There was a lot that was great with this restaurant - festive vibe, friendly and efficient waiters, unique decor, variety of dishes. We will definitely be going back! They have gluten free options for the food I usually have to skip, gluten free enchiladas to name one. The spicyness level was not at all too hectic for those of us who can't tolerate hot food.One warning - the food is not authentic Mexican. The refried beans are not done the way the Mexicans do it and I noticed that with other dishes too. The churro waffles are more waffle than churro. The food is adapted, so chill and enjoy! Definitely worth going for an awesome evening out with friends!

What a wonderful place! Food is delicious and staff are friendly, attentive and very efficient.Came here for late lunch and had a great time. The space is warm and welcoming with colourful, modern decor. Reasonable prices and generous portions. The food really was fantastic and I will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend.Be aware that you may need to book in advance if you plan to go for dinner as the place does seem to be booked out from around 6.

My first time at Tortuga Loca in Muizenberg. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere. The food not only looked fantastic but it was absolutely delish.Fabulous service too. I'll be back, highly recommended.

Delicious vegan options on every dish. Portions big, food incredible, specialty drinks amazing. The service was top notch and the atmosphere is gorgeous!Thank you, James, for the best service!

Nice to have a restaurant have the balls to open in Lockdown...as such a cool place too! Be sure to book, especially on a Friday night!Great service and well priced, decent Mexican style food. Great for a party! Great job guys!

Very attractive spot and comfortable seating. A nice fireplace for a cold winters evening. The food is delicious and the portion sizes might look small but very filling and flavorful. Also very affordable and drinks are amazing. Didn’t catch our server’s name but the service was very good. Great spot.
