Great selection of freshly made, ready to go food with other deli type items.Lekker spot for coffee and lunch, especially outside.Easy and safe parking away from busy streets.

Food is delicious. Amazing. But service is slow so don't go in a hurry cos you will be late. It's beautifully positioned so that you can watch the sun set behind lion's head. Had a beautiful time. You park on the street which is fine. Not many veggie options but enough to get by without feeling cheated. Not really meant for loud groups but it's definitely one of the good chill spots that Cape Town has to offer. It's on my list.Budget wise, it's not cheap but it is reasonable. Especially for the amount of food you get.

A true gem. It feels like a rarity to find such a gorgeous, welcoming place on a residential street with fascinating architecture shrouded in greenery, especially in Cape Town. The food is excellent - fantastic flavours and great variety. They have a rich history and seem to have an ethical approach to sourcing ingredients. Could be the best hand cut chips I’ve ever had.

Interesting little place slap in the middle of Tamboerskloof among all the residential properties. Clearly very popular, the outside tables set on the pavement under umbrellas are constantly full of folk enjoying the sun.Inside, you may be lucky and find a table, but in summer, I found it hot and, frankly, a little claustrophobic. They make it clear that speedy service is not their strong point, and to their credit, they definitely live up to that statement! The coffee however was good, and the food was well prepared and presented (once it arrived), but you could be forgiven for thinking they had forgotten about you in the interrum.I found the place quaint but a bit too eccentric, it is, however, well worth a visit. Just don't be in a hurry!.

Quaint little coffee spot with a decent food menu. But, the management appears not to understand the function of a cafe in modern times, and to memorialize this, if you take out a laptop, they hand you a card (see photo) with extensive rules, including the assertion of a right to issue a fine (R200) for being there more than an hour or if they hear your computer's speakers. I get it: you don't want to have your tables filled with people all day long who are buying nothing and preventing you from seating other paying customers. I own a bar, and I, too, don't particularly enjoy customers who come in, order a water, tell me what music we should" be playing

This is a very cosy and relaxing coffee place, in the suburb of Cape town. The staff is friendly and there arePlenty of options for breakfast with fresh products. Coffee is good And reasonably priced. We came to this coffee 4 times in a row.The atmosphere is very nice, and the place faces table mountain and lion heads, giving you a nice view while enjoying your meal there. They also have extended hours which is quite rare for such a small place. If you are a coffee lover you should go there and not be in a rush as service je a bit slow but this is part of it.

It's a lovely and quiet little cafe on the slopes of Lions Head, with lovely Victorian row houses across the street. A favourite of locals and tourists (it seemed), but the service and coffee were pretty good. If you're looking for something off the beaten path but not too far from the busier Kloof Street haunts, this is a nice option.

A hidden gem, snug in the Tamboerskloof neighbourhood. It’s tiny and very laidback. Great for catching up with friends over coffee. Situated outdoors and perfect for Cape Town’s sunny summer days. Pop in before you hit the beach and grab some snacks from the deli to take with you.

After the hike on lion's head we were tired an hungry and we find on google maps this fantastic small, nice and welcoming café in a particularly cute area of the city! We tried traditional breakfast and drinks and everything was delicious! Super gentle staff! Don't miss this place and take advantage to visit also the area!
