Ramsgate Beach Tidal Pool

Totally loved it.

Great place to come for a swim for kids, adults and elderly. One of the cleanest tidal pools on the coast as fresh sea water washes in every high tide. Been frequenting the pool for years, small fish & sea life are plentiful, even seen a small lion fish and octopus in the pool. There are fresh water showers, basic toilet facilities and a parking area. Place to set up your umbrella and towels on the beach or grassed area. Walk to the whale viewing deck, across the beach to the lifeguard tower, lagoon, main restrooms, Blue Lagoon Restaurant, Tangle Wood Forest and the famous Waffle House. A safe beach and a must visit on the coast.Calm and safe at low and mid tide great for young kids and doing a few laps.At high tide a more adventurous experience for the experienced swimmer.

Fantastic position on the southern end of the Ramsgate main Blue Flag Beach. Clean and a lovely place to relax and explore the rock pools. The lagoon flows into the sea here too, so its always creating interesting and picturesque photo opportunities and even makes the perfect playground for children.

The best beach on the kzn south coast. The tidal pool is positioned where parents can sit comfortably in a sheltered area while watching their kiddies splash away in the tidal pool. Clean beach and close to the Waffle House which has the most amazing savory and sweet waffles.
