eMakhosini Self-Catering Apartments South Beach

We spent four nights here with my friends. We enjoyed staying here, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and we are definitely coming back for more visits. The room was clean and the location of the hotel is pretty perfect, very close to the beach and the Durban ICC. Ohh love that you park your car inside the hotel garage :)

Inside room walls need repainting; toilets and baths are old; bath windows give access to next door rooms, which poses less security and privacy. Elevator is very very old, has no alarm in case of emergency, and also has no air conditioning. Chances of suffocation are highly possible. There's also no air conditioning in the rooms.

we had a great holiday from december2022 till january 2023 the staff was kind and amazing they changed our bedding everyday they are so sweet the place is near the kwik spar and beach which is so great 5min walk to the beach the room was so clean we had a double fridge thanks to the emakhosini group for making our holiday perfect

It's very easy to find and a little bit expensive

We had noisy neighbours like they were playing out loud their radio the reception even said they not from durban they from jhb and they were making noise we couldn't sleep

I had very good time there

Service is on another level. Very caring receptionist. Very close the beach. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay.

The service is good but the room's they are not good at all the windows are dirty lace curtains dirty bathrooms needs to be replaced kitchen cabinets needs to be replaced dining room no windows and the is a bad smell when you come in the manager needs to hire more staff for cleaning the fire escape needs to be repainted ladies at the reception they are doing a great job. The reception looks wonderful don't be fooled by that go into the room you will be disappointed and is very hot in the rooms they don't have air conditioning please install them. Even though we had a good time in Durban
