Phoned them today 29 desember to find out what time they closing.. the gentleman there told me they close at 17:30 got there at 16:55 to find the shop closed.. thanx for the heads up.. if you were going to close early you could have told me then i would not have wasted my time coming all the way that side..

For all your fishing needs in the Brakenhurst/Brackendowns area, Set the Hook is the perfect stop, they service Fun Fishing, Orbi Rus Inn (R50 Dam) and Jackson Dam spots. For beginners to pros, can't go wrong with Set the Hook. The store will be moving the weekend of the 28th April to new premises on Hennie Albert's.

The most friendly and professional people we have dealt with. Having never fished in a dam, Steve and team set us up with rods, reels, baits, basically everything. I will not use any other tackle shop. They not only looked after us but our pockets as well by giving us various options. Thanks all

The owner of the place is such a kind man. He is very smart and helpful. He will not rip you off or scam you, he sincerely just loves fishing and wants other people to share in that joy.
