Time centre

It appears after reading the reviews there are many mixed reactions regarding Time Centre. It appears all Deni is concerned with is getting 5 star ratings. I was told by him that no one had any problems with his service but apparently that is not the case. I had the most terrible experience with this man. I called his shop to speak to someone to make sure I was getting what I was looking for as I was ordering online. I needed a clock that I could see during load shedding and something silent. He got really irritated with me and told me to read the specs on his site which are not very clear if you are not a clock guru. It took me hours to read through his website to find something suitable. Then I called again to make sure the items I selected would work for me. Again he was so impatient. I was told the digital clock had a light that came on briefly which was not the case. The bedside glow in the dark clock was totally deceiving. It looks like the numbers glow but they don't only very tiny dots on the hands which I cannot see. The pocket watch did not come with instructions and was broken. When I emailed him to explain my situation I was told to just pack it all up and send it back and he would refund me. No offer to fix the situation or try replace the clocks for something else that may work. I decided to keep 2 of the clocks as I do not have time to do the research all over again. It was not worth my while sending the pocket watch back as the courier costs would pretty much cancel out the refund so now I sit with a broken pocket watch. He never responded to my last reply so in my books Deni is nothing more than an irritable crook who needs to learn some manners. All I was merely trying to point out that I did not get what I wanted and was disappointed. That's why I called to avoid this exact situation. I told him his products were of excellent quality but he took offense to everything. What a rude, miserable person who relies on good reviews to justify his bad behavior. Never again!!

I am a customer of Time Centre since it opened it doors.What is disturbing is the people that post very negative comments about Time Centre. Where are the days that If something is not acceptable to you, then you approach the person and tackle the issue there and then. Why air your complaint on Facebook using social media to complain. If you can't face the owner and discuss your problem then why hide behind social media. Be brave to tackle the issue or leave and don't do it on social media.

We received fantastic service from Time Centre. They are very friendly, professional and offer great advice. We would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for the great service, it is a breath of fresh air

Drive all the way from Durban to Time Center just want to get the 1970s watch battery changed, very professional lady with wonderful assistance.So happy I even bought a nice clock as a souvenir!THE BEST CLOCK PEOPLE!THANKS!(谢谢！:)

Great service.Needed a battery change & pressure test for my watch,very friendly & professional service.Very large variety of clocks & watches to chose from.

I walked into the shop and asked if they could help me with a good quality battery for my watch. The male worker replied with an attitude and asked me if it look like they supply bad batterys. I just turned around and walked out.

I had a clock made as a Christmas present. Upon collection i complained about marks on brass engravings and the quality of the wood backing used. The owner turned to my wife and asked if i was that picky about everything. The brass plaques had also fallen off by Christmas day. The clock faces also fell out the backing as the present was opened. I will never shop here again, nor will i recommend Time center to anybody.

After standing around for a few minutes waiting for service I caught the eye of one of the staff. On informing him we would like to purchase something he started screaming at me about how busy the shop is and that he is helping someone else. I apologised for disturbing him, since he was pointing at my husband so I began walking away. The staff member continued following me and yelling at me. At this point my husband was being helped by another person. I informed my husband of the treatment I received and we walked out of the shop. I see many positive reviews, unfortunately my experience was hostile and I will never put my foot in that shop again.

Amazing shop run by professionals who put their hearts and souls into it.There is no watch and clock shop like this anywhere in SA
