Kusudalweni Safari Lodge & Spa

We had such a wonderful experience at Kusudalweni, with the dynamic duo Sam and Sam, who were so professional and yet such fun to chat to. I fell sick on the second day and the staff member Mamsy was so kind to offer to make me soup. Food was super delicious and rooms clean and comfortable, with views of monkey's playing away!

Absolutely beautiful environment! Lovely family that runs it who are exceptionally accommodating and friendly, Renhard and Michelle bring life to the beautiful lodge and make it warm and inviting. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with them and I will definitly be back again soon!

The owners really make you feel like home here and you feel at one with nature here as some animals can roam through the area. It feels like you are part of a family. It is luxurious and has great views. The food is exceptional and they cater for all sorts of dietary requirements (we are vegetarians). Highly recommended and the best place I've ever stayed in.

You can only give 5 stars for this amazing place. For the first time I actually don't want to give a review because it will never tell excactly how great this place is. The whole experience is something that you normally only hear about.So if you are looking for the best accommodation around Kruger National Park, you found it.

There us no way that I can do justice to the experience of staying at this lodge! There are private beautiful cabins, with huge beds under white breezy canopies. You wake up with monkeys pressing the noses to your glass walls. Private outdoors shower. And a private chef to cook 3 meals fresh for you each day. You are picked up for a safari either in the afternoon or leave at 4:30 am. Of course, our chef was ready at 4:00 with hot coffee and a fresh baked personal cake. I sent her back to bed - And to watch the sunrise and see the lions and cubs following their Moms- an incredible, breathtaking opportunity. We watched caped buffalo and hyenas and elephants. We saw giraffes and leopards and even a hippo sticking his head up in the watering hole. The ultimate personal luxury mixed with the raw power and beauty of nature. This was the most extraordinary experience of my life.

Great experience! It is a beautiful lodge with great staff. From the first minute you feel comfortable and cared of. We booked the 6 night package and everything was organized to the last detail. The food was very good as well as the rooms and the service! Thanks to Sam - the front office manager - and Mumsie who took very good care of us! We would love to come back in a heartbeat!

Had the absolute pleasure of staying at Kusudalweni Safari Lodge for two nights. Excellent accommodation, hospitality, service and food. Highly recommended.

Rooms are very private and have everything one might desire in this environment: outdoor showers (they've indoor too!), bathtubs with a view, Jacuzzis and a great bed - all with awesome privacy. Dave and Maria run the business and have formed a very nice team, every night they serve a dinner for all guests that is a high point of the day.Their help in organizing safaris and activities was priceless.
