Jaci's Tree Lodge

What an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The team at Jaci’s lodge are unbelievably warm and welcoming. I honestly cannot fault them on anything. From the food, accommodation, game drive’s everything exceeded our expectations tenfold. If you’re looking to retreat for a few days out in nature with some incredible game I would highly recommend giving them a visit! Already planning our next trip!

Absolutely fabulous place - the staff were faultless, food great and my 'tree house' was perfect!! The game drives and wildlife were exceptional and having access to the hide was a plus (although it wasn't very busy while I was there).

We had the most wonderful stay at Jaci‘s Tree Lodge and are looking forward to coming back soon. The rooms and all public areas are tastefully decorated. The staff is attentive and determined to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The proprietors take the time to talk to each guest individually to make sure everybody has a great time. Each time we arrived from one of the Safaries we were welcomed personally. Our guide Hardie has an amazing knowledge of even the smallest animal and the different trees and bushes and if he does not know the answer to a question you can be sure he will research it. We drove around for hours and enjoyed beautiful sunsets sipping gin tonic while rhinos were grazing nearby. Dinner was delicious and served by the fireplace or on a platform overlooking a water hole. One morning we could watch elephants and zebras while having breakfast there. When I think about the time we spend at Jaci’s I feel the urge to pack my bags and go back to SA. Hopefully it won’t take long until I am able to return to this magical place. Thank you for making our stay so special, great memories.

At Jaci’s Tree Lodge, guests are accommodated in custom-built treehouses that seem to float high above the ground. Guests can enjoy a magnificent accommodation experience with views into the surrounding riverine forest as well as glimpses across the Marico River. Jaci’s Tree Lodge blends into the overarching canopy of the surrounding bush and foliage, making for fantastic birdwatching in a natural environment.

Incredible holiday! Jaci’s was so special. Sensational hospitality and the best staff. So friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and huge beautiful rooms. Our guide Andrew was our family’s newest member for the 5 days. Absolute legend!!

Fantastic staff who know your names before you even get there, super friendly. Good food. Great venue. Good animal sightings. 4 of the big 5.Disappointed in one of the drivers. .... returning back to the lodge, every time without fail, he was like a horse heading home. Just missed an impala who was about to run across the road - He was going between 70-80 km on a safari drive!! a herd of impala scattered as be barreled between them, and zebras were chased off with his speeding.

We've been at Madikwe 5 times now and never disappointed us.JACI'S TREE Lodge is by far one of the best we've experienced.Friendly and competent staff.Rooms are incredible and the food is another point that complete the never to forget" experience.We'll definetely get there again"

Really first rate experience - great food at all meals, bar none; excellent game viewing including Big 5 on first game drive; multiple great lion sightings; and brilliant customer service across the board.Bottom line - great bush/safari experience and even better value for money experience.

Jaci's is a very special place. We absolutely loved everything. The game viewing was like being in a documentary, the food was great, the rooms are fabulous and the staff are truly the icing on the cake, so much fun, interesting and entertaining, nothing is too much trouble. Perfect for a large extended family trip that have made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you!
