Delicious!!! One of the tastiest Indian food in Johannesburg and potions are generous. Kulfi is a must for desert.Shoutout to our waiter, Spencer making our experience that much better with great service.

Delightful. Tasty food . Quiet and nice ambience . We had chicken hot n sour n manchow soup .Dahi kabab and paneer tikka . Delicious and totally tasty

Quaint restaurant. Food was delicious and service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Tandoori prawns and the Kulfi ice cream was amazing. Lovely variety of vegetarian dishes.

02.01.2019 I was craving curry and didn't have my car at work so i ordered via an app. I ordered a Chicken Roti Roll. Portion size not bad, but the Roti was very chewy/doughy and my chicken was filled with cabbage and carrots. Sorry but that's not curry, it's more like a spring roll filling.

Davy Ingram and myself had lunch here today. We ordered a portion of half lamb Somoosa and half Cheese and Corn Samoosa which was 2off each. Avtar Ram runs a fantastic really authentic North Indian Restaurant with staff providing the best and most comforting service. We asked the staff to choose a taster dish where we could try more that 1 main meal.. The plate that arrived was outstanding with 3 very different curried if chicken, lamb and Paneer, naan and rice. Huge portion but fresh , tasty and a great choice from his staff, washed down with some Aclohol free beer as i was driving while Davy had from the selection of 5 cold draught beers on tap on offer. The meal ended with a nice refreshing Indian Sweet Desert. There are option of private dining also of booked. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic and we will travel to come back soon. Thank you Avtar Ram and your staff for a fantastic lunch. Unfortunately we were so engrossed in the eating experience we did not take many pictures.Sandra & Davy

Really great service, yummy food and decent to slightly upmarket pricing. Good drinks selection. To hire the private room (seats 10 people) is an extra R500 but well worth it.

Good tandoori prawns for about R150 served with lil chips. Papadi chaat could be more flavourful and more dahi.Dhal makhani and roti was tasty . During busy times.. service a bit slow . And that Aircon is definitely a put off for me. I ate in a fridge like place.
