This place is clean and safe I was walking at night and it was my 1st time there but I felt so safe and the streetlights are very bright you see a mile away I was so comfortable that you would thought I was a residents there whilst my phone was in my hand don't 4get it was my 1st time there plus I was using a public transportation the time was 19h15pm CAT it was winter nice experience for me.

This petrol station has a really retro look - it feels like you've gone back to the 80s - the early 80s. The pumps are the electromechanical type that came in just after completely mechanical ones went out.If you enter the shop, everything is back to normal again, though.I actually have no objection to the 80s style pumps. The problem I have is with the 80s style behaviour of the workers - If a customer is black he gets called my bra"

X5 staff members sitting in front of the shops entrance. Nobody stood up to help. We need to go to them and call them. Ananias answer to us...they're busy. We're the only car at the garage when we arrive. The worst service we got from Caltex ever. I will never use this spesific Caltex again. Maybe this Caltex dont need the customers.

Attendant swiped R200 for R100 worth of petrol. Please beware and always check the pump and your slips before leaving. I will never again support them.

This is my favorite stop for fuel, but however the taxis stop and load passengers right at the entrance where you need to enter in Frederika street. You never know if you pass to enter in the middle lane, if they are going to pull away, making entrance impossible. If the taxis can only pull forward making entrance behind them possible, it will be a lot less stressful.
