Quiet, beautiful and neat. Perfect for a restful getaway or a stopover on your way into the Cedarberg. Greta is an amazing host. No complaints.

I was a different person leaving than the one who arrived. The setting is very beautiful and relaxing, I could have spent days more in that river. Another bonus is easy access to many other incredible places from the coast to the Cederberg wilderness. I am planning my return already.

The charletts are in a lovely area and the settings are great, next to a lovely mountain river called 'Jan Disselsrivier' with the clearest water you can find. You can drink the water. The farm itself is very dirty and unneat. The bungalows are very unneat and defenetly not trendy and not properly maintained. It is very convenient but very plain to nothing much. I feel that ' lekkerslaap' are the most useless accommadation agency you can get. Their photos of the charletts they advertise is literally many years old and outdated. You don't get what you see, except the price. Very dissepointing.

We stayed 3 nights in the Nenna house and it was an absolute dream! The house is located by the little river and next to a large paddock where we had a lot of fun meeting the horses and their foal. The house itself has a lovely rustic charm and a large outside space for braai under the trees.:)- Fully equipped house- AC in the bedroom- Access to the little river to cool off during summer:(- the gravel road to access the guesthouse is a pain for small cars- the hiking trail on the property doesn’t seem to be well maintained. We tried to follow the painted signs but got off trail several times.

Rustic cottages in a lovely serene setting. Very peaceful and relaxing. We had a room with a hot tub which we did not use as we were not sure how it operates. On checking in the host was not around and we were merely handed our key and directed to the cottage. On checking out we met the host who was warm and friendly. We are sure our stay would have been even better if we had met our host at the outset.

What a lovely place to go to if you need a reset from the world. Facilities are clean,neat and has everything you need, even aircon. The surroundings are breathtaking and the river/swemgat is amazing to cool off in and explore. Will definitely be back!

Pure bliss, such a great outdoor retreat! Stayed in the Langhuis, has amazing braai spot next to the river and amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Tranquility!

Very tranquil environment, if you want to get away from the busy city it really is peaceful. The room was extremely cold and would have liked atleast one bag of wood to be provided as a starter to getting the place warmed up, but in saying that, you can't complain for the price. The jacuzzi was enjoyable although a bit too much chlorine in the water. For peace and quiet it is ideal but bring your heater if it's winter.
