I actually like them and over the years frequent them or take delivery. But tonight I had to express the dhal makhni was so hard. It was terrible. Cape to India have such a creamy dhal makhni.... We like to support our local people. But we expect good food...

Ordered the lamb rogan josh off Bolt Food. Without any question the worst curry that either my mother or I have ever eaten. Paid R120 on 40% off the full price of R200, which seems to be an inflated price that they use on Bolt to manipulate people into thinking they're getting a discount.The dish was entirely bone with no more than 50g of lamb as a generous guess. The sauce tasted like chunky, soupy mud mixed with coriander.Definitely in the top 3 worst meals I've ever been served by any restaurant.

I ordered the masala chicken gatsby (half) and it was delicious. I'll definitely try the masala steak gatsby next time. It was better than Aneesa's Wynberg masala steak gatsby.

Don't know about the other 1000 dishes, but i would not recommend buying Gatsby here, they did not give me what i ordered and paid for, and when i said something about it, they wanted me to re-order and pay again, nevertheless skimping on sauce, steak dry thin bland didn't even give me a full egg on it, was a thin sliver of dried egg white, processed cheese, average roll, chips were mush, would not recommend dining in, unless you bring your own cutlery from home, and own napkins, guy behind me was just as disappointed as me in this place.Advice to the owner, get new competent staff asap.

excellent value for your money. quite unique with the selection of food they have available and they always having specials. I tried their chicken full house naan Gatsby for 90 rand with mixed sauce and that had all the works and was really tasty and quite filling. I will definitely be there again to check more of the menu out and keep everyone posted

I use to love this place growing up . But recently the chicken has started tasting very old and sorry to say disgusting . And their portion and quality has gone down to the drain . I went back over and over after this bad experience with their tikkah and sorry to say will never be coming back again there for Tikka .
