This was our 3rd visit, and it really is becoming a home away from home. The friendly and professional assistance awarded to us by Lesley is truly appreciated. She is so accommodating and goes the extra mile to ensure we are treated like 5star guests. She was kind enough to arrange to have the heaters switched on and thus, we walked into a snug warm apartment. The venue itself was clean, lovely bedding, and we thoroughly took advantage of the array of literature at our disposal. We discovered so much history and interesting facts and were able to enjoy the clean fresh crispy air in the garden. We will most definitely be returning and have recommended close friends to go and experience this treasure for themselves. Thanks once again.

Before booking this accomodation please go and view it therefore you will not make statements like how do they charge for that accommodation" or "highly disappointed" etc. Cheval Vapeur has been my secret gem for the past 4years. And has now become a regular twice a month inexpensive getaway for myself and my little family. From the scenic surroundings

Clean and respectful, staying owner's and housekeepers

This is a great and wonderful place to be. Good place to relax, to chill with family it has everything thing that you need and feeling of staying in this cottage is just amazing you should try once in your life you will love it. I had wonderful experiences.

Very Tranquil. Clean homey cottages . Excellent place to be .

Don't expect luxury. This is a horse farm, and the accommodation is basically wendy houses. The place is not advertised as a 4 star hotel, so don't expect that. We enjoyed our 2 night stay, and will consider it again in future. Not the best location - If the location was better, I would give it 5 stars. Friendly owners always willing to assist. A great back to basics experience for the kids :)

Cheval Vapeur has always been very welcoming and friendly in its accomodations.On both our stays we enjoyed a peacefull atmosphere, nature walks, braai and watching the horses being fed while the children played on the jungle gym and the abundance of sea sand on the farm. Its a rustic experience and still developing into its full bloom so dont expect heated towels and the comforts of a hotel. However the staff and owners are very helpfull and Themeka and Eric really go the extra mile to make guest enjoy their stay

Being a home queen person with high expectations, my stay at Cheval Vapeur has really challenged me a lot in a good way. It's a farm with horses and other animals among other farms growing vegetables. We stayed in a cabin for a few nights. The cabin had the basics and a communal shower and toilet area. Given the fact the nature of the establishments the place is quite popular. Even on our last nights stay there were people checking in. Cheval made me realize that there is more to life than just the hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing and friendly. So if you're the outdoor type of person, or just want to connect with nature or a break away, Cheval is the place to stay. Covid 19 protocols are complied. Tumeka will see to that. Thank you so much.
