Beautiful setting. Amazing little hidden Gem. If you are looking for a wine tasting, lunch, or picnic. This is it.Wise open spaces. Stunning views. A must on your Stellenbosch journey. Not well known even under the locals, but what a discovery!!Put this estate on your bucket list. It's worth the detour and effort to discover this jewel.

Truly a 5 start experience! I’d definitely go back again . We started out with a 5 course lunch menu where each course was paired with a specific wine , each to suit the food palate. The whole lunch took about 2 hours so make sure you are not in a hurry . During our lunch we had a guitarist playing some soothing music while we sat eating and drinking wine overlooking the mountains . The most top tier experience I’ve ever had. After lunch was over we had a chance to purchase some of the wines that we enjoyed while taking . After lunch they give you about 30-1 hr before they start preparing for the next sitting . Meanwhile you can still hung around the premises to take photos and just relax . It’s about 1 hour drive from Cape Town CBD to the vineyard and for 2 people the price was $150

A very beautiful place. Upon arrival, we were asked to provide a driver's license. Parking is under the trees, in the shade. A man in a suit escorted us to the entrance. We booked a table outside but were seated inside. There are no air conditioners. Therefore, it was hot. We ordered a menu of 7 items + wine for each course. Dishes were carried for a very long time. We spent 3 hours at the winery. And all this time they brought us food. The food wasn't bad. We didn't really like the wines. Only the last dessert with wine was perfect. But there was a terrible minus, this is a hair in my girlfriend's dessert. The check came out for 6,112R (4 people no deposit per table + 1200R). I think it's overpriced for this place. And with such an unpleasant surprise in food, they did not make a discount.

We went back to have another picknick at Quion Rock. Both times, the service was on point, the quality of the picknick basket was amazing and we felt very welcome to be there (again) as a family. Big recommendation for a lazy afternoon!

What an incredible and intimate picnic experience! This was by far one of the best picnics I’ve ever had. The food, service, views and overall experience were excellent! Our waiter, Asher, was wonderful and attentive throughout the day and we loved that after our beautiful feast, we could relax with our wine on the beautifully set up lawn with blankets and mini bean bags.We had also ordered the vegan picnic for our bride-to-be and her food was excellent too.I highly recommend the picnic at Quoin Rock!

Wow it was fantastic. Definitely one oh the best winery and the best wine in South Africa. If you're into aesthetics, you'll love this place. Wine tasting costs R 250 and it worths it.

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch here in the week.Things that stood out: The staff, wonderful service- very on top of it all the time, never an empty glass. The dessert: I am normally not intrigued by desserts and much prefer starters or mains, but their 3 options were all equally beautiful and tasted other worldly. The raspberry and banana option was however the all round winner at the table. The venue: what a view!Things that could have been slightly better:The restaurant was very hot inside, but I do have to add that we visited on an unseasonably hot autumn day.The fish main was a little underwhelming for me personally, while my brother loved it,so again, not any error on their part. The menu is fairly priced at about R650 for a three course and it is definitely a dining experience.
