Tracetec stolen vehicle recovery

We are registered with Tracetec and many years ago our driver was hijacked and within I am sure within an hour had found our Caddy in Katlehong at a house. The police were called in and they went to this house and the mother in the house said her son was in Durban and she has no knowledge of how this car got in her yard.We laid a charge of hijacking and theft and unfortunately our SAPservice as you all know never carried on with the investigation. Hencethe purbetrator was never arrested and the SAP did not even care.up to this day to investigate the case. i.e. December 2017. However thanks to Tracetec we got our vehicle back. (little damaged inside)Thankyou Tracetec

Tracetec got this new fantastic fleet system available with a phone app. Way better than before!! Call them for more information.

Tracetec is very efficient and their response rate is just too perfect. My cars were stolen different occasions but on both instances the service was excellent. The first car when it was stolen they updated me every hour on progress till the car was found. The second time my car was stole 8pm within 3hrs my cars was safely restored back to me. Thank you guys and keep up the good work.

I've had their tracking devices in my car for about 6 years and I haven't had any problems with it. The TraceTec team is professional and the 2 times that I sent them an email they contacted me the same day to help with my requests. Highly recommend to friends and family.

The tag used by Tracetec is not a true tracking device - it is a radio transmitter which is detected by a few strategically placed radio towers if it happens to move past them. It cannot be used to pinpoint the location of your asset.When my motorcycle was stolen, Tracetec's field agent in Cape Town was inept and disinterested to the point of severely hampering efforts to recover the motorcycle.

My vehicle was recently stolen, I had no hope of recovering it, but Tracetec did find my vehicle. If it wasn't for Tracetec I still wouldn't have recovered my vehicle as the police never called me. Their service was incredible from start to end. I am an exceptionally happy client!

My scooter got stolen in November 2022, they couldn't track it, I'm pretty sure the thief removed the tracker (which means Tracetec should hide it better) it can only be tracked once connected to a battery and ignition on, otherwise you just can't pick up the signal

Fleet System is offline" or busy with "upgrade" most of the time. Total waste! You need to let them know when they're offline!"
