This is a very friendly and special place that you in parts (kitchen, living room, pool area) share with the nice and hospitable owners and their cat (who are very discrete and do not disturb you at all, rather the opposite!). The house is modern but still cosy with high-quality furnishing. The rooms are well-equipped and have full privacy. Very nice garden. Great view in the mountains from the pool area. Absolutely quiet at the pool and in the rooms. Outstanding welcome and information package via mail before arrival. We recommend the home cooking service from Twig"."

Where do I begin?! Martly and Hanno are the most gracious and welcoming hosts, the atmosphere is relaxed and homely, the pool and garden area exquisite,, delicious breakfasts served on the patio with the mountains in front of you, and you even get to interact with Bolla the cat! This is a little piece of Paradise.

What an amazing couple that runs this charming guest house! We liked the atmosphere very much, very relaxed! What a wonderful place to escape the fast pace of our busy lives. Incredibly comfortable and what wonderful personalised service. My go to place to get away. Also a top tip...The restaurant, 22 in Church is a short walk from the guest house and the food is spectacular.The whole package is going to leave you feeling pampered.

What a SUPER place to stay!!! The hosts went out of their way to make it comfortable and the tons of extras they added, made it a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the warmth and peace, rooms were beautiful and the meals excellent!!! Will go back any time!! Thank you!1

Extremely lovely place with a wonderful pool, garden, terrace and shared living area. We stayed in the generuous honeymoon suite with private terrace. Complementary drinks, bar and self-service bar available at very reasonable prices. The complete design is astonishing and demands to spent multiple nights in this lovely area. Host is warmly welcoming and recommended various activites and restaurants. Definetly recommended even for a few nights!

We loved our stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the curtains blocked all light from outside so sleeping in was possible. The breakfast spread was extensive, and everything was fresh and delicious.

We stayed for one night in the guesthouse of Martley and Hanno. The guesthouse is very tastefully decorated. It is a small oasis in Montagu. Good restaurants are within walking distance.Martley and Hanno are very friendly, nice and helpful. We can fully recommend the Guesthouse and would stay here again.

Martly runs a beautiful guest house in Montagu. It is filled with stunning art with a great view of the mountains.My husband and I spent a weekend here where Martly hosted a Lebanese cooking weekend with Sophie Lindop. We felt like we were part of the family!
