The service could be better. Got there and the lady greeted us and gave us a warm welcome, escorted us upstairs and left us there, it took a while for us to be seated while there were a lot of empty seats.The waiter was just all over the place, talking to his friends while serving us... it wasn't such a great experience, I would recommend customer service training for staff.Atmosphere and the drinks were nice

The atmosphere and place was beautiful and the service was quick. The waiters were welcoming and that was my favorite part. The food was fine, nothing specific. The ribs were not seasoned well, there was no salt in them. Overall it was a good experience.

Views are amaizing, remeber to have your drivers license on you for entrance, good music, well established place with water features, food was...OK, good but nothing spectacular lovely play area away from the restaurant so there's no noise but close enough to watch ur kids9/10Xx Annetté

I love everything about this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sad to Know that TJ is no longer with the restaurant, he was the most caring and efficient and made my visits feel special. Hope the standard will be kept in his absence.The ambiance of the place is just welcoming. The kids loved the play area and the water springs.The bar upstairs is amazing, the vibe is just on point.The food is top tier! The drinks are right up there with the food!

What a delight this place is.Stumbled upon it by very lucky chance.Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Mpho was our server, and she was fantastic.We had breakfast on this occasion, and we want to go back to try everything!Great coffee as well.Went back for lunch OMG the cocktails is to die for.Great fillet with Café de Paris butter.Burger and chips also good, unfortunately a stale bun spoiled the burger.

I was looking forward to having a good experience here but I was annoyed with the service. The waitress did not pay much attention to us. You could literally see her serving other people far better than how she treated us. To make the experience even worse, the food was bland and tasteless. My partner and i ended up sharing my plate which was the Line Fish of the day with mash and undercooked, bland vegetables. I have never had to put so much salt and pepper just to give the food a bit of taste. The prawns" my partner ordered for R240 where just tasteless

cocktails and coffee! because life is all about balance...The Iron restaurant is situated on the Emfuleni golf course which means you have a gorgeous view of the greens.The restaurant is exquisitely decorated.The seating is comfortable and luxurious.The seating outside and on the veranda allows for a very authentic feel.The food is glorious... ate burgers and chips ... the chips are divine!The cocktails were delicious!I would recommend to all.

Gorgeous views. Great drinks. Food good in parts. Two of us ordered medium rump - one perfect, one well overdone. With a bit more consistency, this can be a great addition to the Vaal restaurant scene.

The Iron Restaurant
In the summer it is nice to enjoy the view from the terrace or the upper balcony, both overlook the practice green and driving range. The food is very nice, high quality and made with fresh products. I am a big fan of the pizzas and burgers, would highly recommend any of them. The pizzas have a nice thin, crunchy base and the burger patties are grilled to juicy perfection. It is a complete revamp of what the facilities was in the past. Would definitely recommend a visit to any newcomers that are in the area.
