Carleen gained my confidence from our very first encounter and didn't once disappoint. JP, Andrew and Janice lived up to their promise that my day will be magical. Every little detail on the day was taken care of smoothly and professionally. I didn't have to lift a finger or ask for a thing cos my needs were anticipated. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with no shortage of photo opportunities and memorable moments. It really created an intimate setting with amazing food and a fairy tale feel. Would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone with no reservations

Out wedding was in September 2021, which was not just the most important day of our lives but a magical spectacle made more so by the great work of the staff of The Bridge Venue.From the owner (Andrew) and the operators (J.P. and Carleene) to the decor and music (by D.J. Kobus), the day was beautiful and would not have been so elsewhere.They added personal touches, including boat entrance for the Bride, an otherworldly gazebo altar for the ceremony, and ample space for the guests, both inside and outside.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow, when I think back on our special day at this unbelievably beautiful venue it brings me so much joy.Not only did it make for incredible photo's (which our photographer Callum Hilton, insta handle @skelm.jpg, took for us) but the support we received from Carleen, JP and the team was more than we would ever have expected.Carleen became my friend. She does this all day for hundreds of weddings and even so I felt like I had a friend who put her all into making our day more than what we even dreamed.JP sat patiently with us as discussed budget and plans and helped us work around what we could afford and he stayed up late on the night of the wedding making sure that everyone had what they needed and greeted all the guests as they left. That kind of support is so rare and spoke for the kind of people and venue that they are.Not to mention the incredibly delicious food, super convenient separate rooms for both grooms and bridal party to get ready in, an included honeymoon suite as well as additional accommodation for guests at a very affordable rate and all the little details and care that is taken that you will immediately see if you ever go visit the Bridge. It was just perfect!So many of our Sunday's before the wedding were spent bringing our close friends and family on separate occasions to see the venue we were so excited about! JP was so accommodating each time and allowed us to come through after a quick call to arrange a time.I could go on and on!All in all I 10000000% recommend having your wedding at the Bridge if you want a day that lives up to all you dreamed it could be and have all the support you need along the way.

Our love story started of in 2018 with a simple meeting, little did we know it was a meeting of the hearts and quite quickly we realized we are soul mates. We got engaged on the 6th of March 2021 and that's when it dawned on us that wedding planning needs to be prompt so we can start our lives together. At first we were quite confident we would get a great venue that would be able to allow self catering and manage a traditional wedding but after 3 months of looking it started to feel like a daunting task and some hope was lost. Until we found The Bridge. From the moment we walked in apart from it being a beautiful venue we felt very welcomed and all of our concerns were handled with such care. At that moment our confidence was restored and we booked the venue the very next day.The whole wedding process was seamless, we had a meeting to discuss some trational requirements and it made it such easier that the wedding team being Carleen and JP were understanding and flexible. We had our table mock up and a month before the wedding we decided to go with a different theme setting which the team handled hands on.Some family members came from out of Johannesburg and the arrangement of accommodation at The Overnight was a pleasure and so convenient.The wedding day was like a dream come true for both myself and my husband. Even though we didn't plan for a rainy day the wedding team had provisions for everything. All plans discussed was executed with such ease and everything was on point. The waiters and staff were so friendly, the baffet area was ready, the bar was stocked and the reception was a blast!We had a couples shoot outside with so many beautiful garden elements to work with, not forgetting the famous Bridge.The Bridge not only exceeded expectations but made our special day something we would always remember in the best way possible.A very heartfelt Thank you to Andrew, Janice, Carleen, JP and The Bridge support Staff.In short, we will recommend The Bridge in a heart beat!All the best guys!Alisha and Nishal

Stunning wedding venue. Food and decor absolutely stunning. Lush greenery. Great view of the river.

The Bridge Venue is the perfect place to get married. Holly and her team are amazing! Accomodated all our needs and requests. Catered for our vegan and celiac friends with delicious food.We chose the spitbraai menu for the rest of the guest and the food was amazing! Andrew (in house DJ) was brilliant and played all the music we love. Lucy (in house florist) made the venue look exquisite.Beyond that the gardens are beautiful and there are lovely photo opportunities. We and all our guests had an amazing time!
