Had an amazing time. Best service from Anita and her husband, Gunter. Let Gunter take you on game drive and learn about nature. Lots of animals to see, and you get to enjoy nice freshly baked muffins by Anita.Beautiful cabins and VERY clean.I had a great stay.I definitely recommend Abendruhe Lodge to you!

Our stay at Abendruhe lodge was absolutely wonderful. Anita and Gunther are very friendly and welcoming and the cabins, equipped with everything you could possibly need for a brilliant time in the bush, are stunning. We were so impressed by Abendruhe lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.We will definitely be returning to the lodge in future.

The accommodation is so well thought out. Every single thing you could possibly need from braai equipment to kitchen utensils as well as creature comforts like electric blankets and heaters are provided. They have an honesty bar with very reasonable prices for wood, firelighters, ice, drinks etc. The watering hole is such a treat when all the animals come by and you can enjoy the views right from your cabin. Highly recommended!!

Our stay at Abendruhe lodge was fantastic. The lodge is located within the Dinokeng reserve. The cabins are very clean and neat most definitely value for your money. With scenic sunsets and the most beautiful sun rise. With your private boma area to sit around the camp fire as you wait for the wild animals to appear out of no where. Wifi and DSTV also available.

Peaceful, luxurious, just a blessing to experience.4 cabins, all modern, neat, air-conditioned, spacious.Cabins are designed for 2 Adults, with 2 small children.I brought my wife here for her birthday and Anita prepared the cabin with a birthday banner, candle, sparkling wine and 2 champagne glasses.Such detail and personalised attention very scarce today.We had a great time!

What an amazing experience. Your hosts Anita and Gunter are very involved and are available for all your needs. The staff are friendly. We stayed in the 6 sleeper cabin which is well equipped and super clean. Wifi and DSTV is available. Had 2 great guided game drives apart from our self drives. In short a fabulous stay and highly, highly recommend.

I left my home in Johannesburg and stepped into Heaven after a short drive of just over an hour.The peace and tranquility of Abendruhe descends over you as you step out of your car. It was our first visit to Abendruhe where we stayed 4 nights in Chalet No. 1 & we were amazed at how well it equipped it was. Anita & Gunther had thought of absolutely everything. We thought it lovely touch that they would pop around for a quick word every evening. We were left to laze the day away but in the afternoon Gunther took us for a game drive. He was extremely informative and told us many things about the animals that we hadn't heard before. Anita & Gunther are wonderful hosts. Would I go back to Abendruhe? In a shot!

Did a booking via cell phone and ask for a good cash price. The owner Anita confirm the price and booking with me.No communication there after. I paid the money on via eft the same afternoon.The next day was my wifes birthday and i got a very bad message from her to tell me that she is canceling the booking because I paid eft and not cash. I was blown away and ask her why she didn't tell me i should pay cash on arrival. She also warned me that i will have to deal with her husband and he is going to be angry.. I then apologized for paying via eft and said to her i was not aware of the condition of payment method..so she spoiled my wifes birthday because of the cruel way she thread me just because i paid via eft. will never book their again!!!!

Wow, what a lovely place, it far exceeded our expectations , it was perfect in every way . Our unit was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed and more . The view of the bush from our deck was amazing, a zebra walked right next to the fence , we saw impala and giraffes from our deck and just missed a lion sighting before we arrived. Gunther and Anita are lovely friendly hosts who ensure that you are well catered for and who run this lodge exceptionally well and it's such good value for money as well , I definitely give it 5 stars for everything ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We will definitely be back .

We went of a game drive with Abendruhe Lodge and we had a wonderful time. Gush has a way with people and explaining! Although we did not really see much animals(no guarantees right), my family enjoyed the game drive. Thank you for the great time out in the bush.
