Sky-HI Ride

Had a super experience at the Ski-Hi Ride. Staff were amazing and made it quite fun. The video experience is done professionally and was sent within 2 hours of leaving the ride.The only thing I would say is misinforming are the opening times. They open earlier than 12pm as stated on the website.

What a fun experience! The people who operate the ride were very kind and made a lot of jokes which was nice. The ride itself was an adrenaline rush! I was very scared, but really enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend doing this! Remember that you can do it for FREE in your birthday month!

Kids thoroughly enjoyed this, very quick activity though so unless you planning on doing more than the 2 rides on the ticket plan more activities around thisAs spectators we took some really nice pics of the view (I don't know if it's worth R50 though) just my view

An absolute breath-taking, adrenaline filled activity! I've been 3 times and every ride is a different experience!100% recommend this and grab your experience video from the kiosk at the top!The views from the deck are incredible and you're left in awe of Cape Towns beauty!

Windy day made for a few delays and we only had 1 ride (instead of the usual 2) but even this did not hamper the awesome experience. The hotel is exquisite and once on top of the roof, the views are sublime.The ride itself is exilerating to say the least and all staff were incredibly friendly.Must give this a go when in cpt. (Free ride for those having their birthday)

Wow! I went for the free birthday special and it was such an amazing experience. I booked online and arrived for my slot on the day. I was able to store my belongings in a locker before getting on the ride. From start to finish, the team was very enthusiastic and the overall vibe was so energetic which made the experience all the more fun and enjoyable.The ride itself was electric! Truly an adrenaline rush. A video of the ride was sent to me not long after (very entertaining to watch). After my ride I could enjoy the views on the deck of Hotel Sky.This really was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend for thrill seekers and really anyone looking for great fun.

The ride itself was great and the staff were friendly but the service is severely lacking. I waited two days for my video before sending in a query about it . After some back and forth I was told my video was lost which was disappointing but I was willing to move past it. When I aked for a refund on my video I was ignored. I have messaged and emailed but its been radio silence for days now. I am saddened that such a good experience was ruined by lack of good service and communication.

I visited Sky-HI Ride during a visit to Cape Town. I’m a big fan of thrill rides, so when I saw the attraction on the Cape Town City Pass I couldn’t miss the opportunity.The attraction is located in Hotel Sky, which is very prominent in Cape Town and easily found. Once you arrive in the reception the friendly concierge was able to check me in and arrange the drop. After a very short wait at the elevators, you’re greeted by a welcoming member of the Sky-HI Ride team, and they take you up to the 28th floor, where the ride towers over Cape Town’s skyline.The team really get you hyped up for it, and once you’ve stowed your bags, they take you up to the ride, and talk through the safety procedure. Once you’ve locked in you are then hoisted slowly to the top of the tower where you can take in the view. Having been on hundreds of rides over my 20+ years of being a theme park enthusiast, I can safely say that Sky-HI has the best view I’ve ever had on a ride. You have a minute to enjoy the ride before you plunge back down to earth, and even though it’s a fairly short drop – it packs a punch!The staff were so enthusiastic and really made the experience that much more special. They have great music playing out over the viewing area and platform where the ride is launched, all adding to the atmosphere. It’s certainly a ‘must-do’ attraction when in Cape Town. If you love thrilling rides and fantastic views – you’re in for a treat!

I recently had the opportunity to experience the Sky-Hi ride, and it was incredible. The staff were enthusiastic and did a great job of hyping up the experience. I highly recommend going at night, as the view of Cape Town is breathtaking. While the ride up the tower was smooth, the drop was absolutely exhilarating. I closed my eyes during the first ride, but during the second ride, I mustered up the courage to keep my eyes open and the view was stunning. I’m definitely planning on going again for another ride. The GoPro video is a great option for capturing the experience and is it professionally edited video that really showcases the thrill of the ride. The ride is weather permitting and limited to 10 rides per ride, but the experience is worth it. One payment gets you 2 rides. A payment is priced at R200 - this includes the Go Pro video. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adrenaline rush in Cape Town.
