We had such a lovely time and we will definitely come back again. Our kids loved the outdoors. It's a wonderful place to go to if you want to get away from the busy life of the city. Perfect to relax and unwind and also spending some quality time with family. Ourhost Werner was amazing and took good care of us. What a stunning place, and a very warm welcome from the owner Werner. The chalet is very clean and the surrounds are very neat. Peace and quite only you and nature it self. Wow thanks Werner keep up the good work

This was our second visit to Riverbend cottages. This is the place to go if you want to escape the city and not have to drive for hours. Under an hour from Johannesburg all along the Magalies meander.Werner is an exceptional host and certainly goes out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable.The units are very well appointed each with a fireplace. Everything you need will be there, I even found a packet of braai spice in the cutlery drawer.The cottages are situated far enough from the main road that you don't hear or see any cars. It is right in the middle of nature with a river flowing through it. The sound of the frogs, crickets and other nightlife add to the overall serenity of Riverbend cottages. Each unit had its own braai or you can use the braai in the lapa. There's a swimming pool and a sundeck as well.This is THE place to go to relax, unwind and recharge.We will definately go back as soon as we can.
