Kelly Jaynes Cake Boutique

I’ve tried 3 kinds of their cakes/cheesecakes and loved them all! Just the right size, sweetness and decadence. My favourite so far has to be the salted caramel fudge cheesecake!Their branding is also quite nice - small touches that make it an experience. I’ve also recently tried the berry bubble tea and it was also quite a treat.As a suggestion for new clientele, it would be great if there was a menu of sorts with the cake descriptions.

If you are a cake fan or just need to reward yourself with a really great tasting cake slice or full cake you cannot go wrong with this cake shop. And if you want to gift someone the packaging is stunning.

Hands down the best cake in jhb! Flavour, taste, portion, packaging and price. Whatever you guys are doing keep doing it!

The most BEAUTIFUL cake was made for my daughters sweet 16. A beautiful black cake with emerald green geo stones and touches of gold...Blueberry with cream cheese filling...a hit with all the kids! Special thanks to Masego who just gave excellent service.❤️We will definitely be using you in future!

saw this new cake shop at dainfern and my wife thought we should pop in. boy, were we in for a treat. we settled on cappuccinos (surpisingly good for a non-coffee shop), a gingerbread man (still to be eaten) and a salted caramel and chocolate cheesecake (*VERY* nice! split between my wife and myself, because it's a rather big slice). also, their serviettes that they give you are nice.

I love a bakery/cake boutique that understands cake, and Kelly Jaynes just nails it . I've been there about three times trying out different flavors of cake, and I've never been disappointed. Their cakes are so moist,fresh, and just the right dash of sweetness. Their slices are oh so generous, and I love their different flavor combinations. On my recent trip ,I ordered the Activated Black Charcoal Cake, and it was divine. If you have a hankering of something sweet and delicious, definitely pop in their boutique. And if you love cheesecake and different varieties of cheesecake, then hurry,hurry.

The environment is gorgeous and staff are very friendly. Also, the packaging is stunning. The cakes themselves are quite solid, dense and over sweet. The cherry and poppy seed in particular is wet and sticky from almost soaking in its own syruppy sugar. Moreover, the attendants confuse butter ream icing for cream cheese icing, so if for your nearly R70 Investment per slice you expect a smooth and tangy icing you will instead bite into butter and sugar . If you go with managed expectations that the cake does not taste half as good as it looks, you will be fine. This is a good establishment for folks who aren't fussy about their cake but not for foodies

Disappointed indeed, I ordered a cake for my 21st birthday. The colour was completely wrong. After making a fuss they tried to correct it. The cake did not taste nice and collapsed as I left the shop. Definitely not happy

Amazing cakes. Lovely staff, who are always smiling and willing to share information on different cakes. A great place for a lovely Sunday afternoon for some tea and cake.
