Coffee great! Atmosphere amazing! Cake the best!! To start of the location is so unique and secluded it makes you feel like you are in a different country. We had a vegan Almond and citrus cake that was delicious and very moist, we had a basque cheesecake that tasted very similar to the original basque cheesecake from Spain, and an Almond croissant that was also very tasty. We paired that with a flat white and Cortado both flavored and well balanced coffees. Will definitely recommend this as a MUST when you visit Plettenberg Bay

Absolutely shocking experience. Was a recomendation from our accomodation owner. Arrived after breakfast rush, a few open tables and quite a chilled vibe. Had no fruit juices available (all out of stock) but had ingredients for a very very expensive and very small fruit health juice mix. Service was completely non-existant. Saw our waitron once and never again. Runner served our food and was definately not what was expected. Took one bite of a burnt interpretation of a croissant and set it aside. No mention of the item ordered is grilled to death or such. Portions are very small as well, especially considering the price. No waitering staff questioned the food placed aside once, although a few walked past and glanced at it. Nor did anyone ask how the meal was or if we needed refils etc. First restaurant I have ever walked out of, where I did not tip but only paid the bill. Was not asked once about our meal or service. Ironically enough when we walked out another table did the same.

Lovely bakery , with really good strong coffee and amazing croissants. Very French feel which is great with so much space to sit either on their lovely patio overlooking Main Street, inside the bakery or under the trees out front.Very relaxing with really friendly staff that were very quick to help always.Definite good value for money !

Le Fournil De Plett Bakery and Café
Today i have been here for breakfast. There is a home made, glutenfree (but with oats) granola with yoghurt and fruit salad. I also ate the cheesecake, which has no base. Because it was so good (absolutely creamy and fudgy) i also took one slice for take away as well as a slice of the almond citrus cake and the financiers.

Breakfast croissant was really good. Pastries and cakes taken home for the kids were much appreciated.
