I purchased an adjustable bench from this company.Firstly, the order took 2 months to arrive. Multiple reasons given by the company, however I was willing to overlook this, as I felt they had kept in contact with me (Despite numerous promises and delays). The bench eventually arrived, however once unpacked, the entire frame was skew. I contacted the owner, Haemish (Spelling?) who assured me that this would be sorted, and that new parts would be sent to me. We are 3 months down the line, and Haemish has stopped replying to my messages. I am now stuck with an almost unusable bench (Unless you can bench press while angling your back an additional 15 degrees either left or right). I have attached some photos to this post - you will see that the incline function is not usuable as the support is not manufactured in line with the adjustable bar, while the second close up shows how the bench braces dont line up. Again, poor manufacturing.At the end of the day, I feel I have been incredibly understanding (Considering the delivery time was originally stated at 12 working days). Do not waste your time and money with this company - spend an extra bit somewhere reputable and spare yourself 3 months of headache.I have essentially lost R4000.

Ordered the weighted vest from herd too use for myself and for my clients. Blown away by the quality of the product, nice and easy adjustable fit, vest stays in place and doesn't bounce around like many others do.Would highly recommend to anyone interested in making their training a bit more challenging.

Herd did not fail to completely dissapoint in every aspect of service. Extremely late delivery and poor communication. My order took a over a month to arrive and I had to constantly follow up with support for updates, which were never plainly given up until the day before delivery. Once delivered, my order was incomplete as Herd are clearly incapable of counting and basic arithmetic - a sheet of PVC tiling was missing from the 12 square meters of tiling I had ordered. Another note about the tiling (smooth PVC tiles) is that the quality is terrible and will not last any extended use or heavy loads. The Herd online webstore claims these sheets are 12mm thick when in actuality they are at best 7mm thick and only reach 12mm high with their wobbly under-structure. Furthermore, they are off the advertised 1m x 1m dimensions by a half centimeter on either side so if you are looking for a tight, neatly fitting tiling, don't bother with this rubbish. Herd has been the most dissappointing and regrettable part of my home gym building experience. I will likely scrap all the equipment I bought from Herd (can't even resell this garbage) and try again at a proper gym equipment provider.

Loving my adjustable bench & flooring. Bench is heavy & sturdy. Chose to have it powder-coated grey, so it fits in with the house. Flooring (I chose the 12mm) was easy to assemble & does a great job protecting the tiles underneath. Love that I'm supporting a local company with a quality product. Looking forward to expanding to some more equipment.

Ordered a hack squat/ leg press machine as well as a huge amount of flooring 6 months ago and have only received 1/3 of the flooring ordered no hack squat or the rest of the flooring order. Every time we contact Hamish there are multiple excuses as to why he has not yet fulfilled our order and empty promises that never come to fruition! This is still an ongoing battle to either get our order out of them or a refund for the products not delivered! Their communication and work ethic id horrendous, definitely would not recommend them to any one or use them my self again, extremely disappointed!

I chose to go with Herd Gym because Hamish was very helpful on the phone and seemed quite professional. Their gym equipment also looked great on the website. I wanted a custom order whereby the rack needed to be made narrower to fit in my gym room. I also asked for a black logo instead of yellow to fit my gym theme. I was told that it would take 5-10 days to arrive after payment, so I made the payment almost immediately. After numerous courier" issues and not being given a waybill number

Bought 20kg thin plates from Herd in 2020. Was ASSURED over email several times that regardless of cost or manufacturers, they will ALWAYS keep the plates. I asked this before, during and after purchases as I was planning on obtaining 300 - 500 kg worth. Anyway, in 2021 when I wanted to purchase more thin plates I get an email that steel is too costly so we no longer make it" nevermind that I had already been assured this wouldn't happen. Furthermore
