Attended a birthday celebration. Food was amazing. From seafood to poultry to meat. Service was good, friendly, attentive and always available. The play area was ideal to keep the kids busy.

I had a wonderful time celebrating a friends birthday. It was our first time but very enjoyable. The food was delicious and so much. Staff was very helpful and informative. I was so full, I couldn't order dessert.A wonderful surprise was all the staff coming to sing for her.

This was the most disgusting food we have ever tasted. To make matters worse the prices are comparable to high end returants. My wife and I ordered a platter for 2 containing a kg of prawns ad a full chicken. The food had no seasoning at all and was bland. The prawns was like rubber and the chicken was undercooked and tasteless. The milkshake was falsely advertised. We walked out having spent R800 on a meal that was world's apart to what we ate at ocean basket a week ago for the exact same bill. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Had a bad experience prior. Thot i would give them another try. Worse mistake ever. We ordered black mushrooms..it was regular button mushrooms smothered in cheese. It had to be sent back as the waiter McDonald said the chef made a mistake..our stuffed calamari was disappointing. It came half way thru our meal. My husband ordered the Caribbean platter..the prawns was awful..rubbery...the kashmiri masala was bare minimal...and the lemon butter sauce was tasteless. We ordered onion rings but we got butternut lol...We ordered a jug of passion fruit. It was warm..we had to ask for ice..bowls for our shellfish remains...cutlery...I would never visit there again...all that trouble for making a 70th birthday special..R1950 was wasted on horrible food..horrible service..

Our host Patience was absolutely on point with service with a smile. Brilliant service. Especially when we a request a re-heat on a the family platter about an hour and half in... We were so impressed with the kitchen staff too. Very client centric and I love that.

Always loved coming here but on mother's day a table of 5 of us were rushed while sitting and having lunch perhaps someone came to our table 12 times to pick up plates that were not competed and wipe the tables while we are seated to rush us out because they were busy. What's the point of eating in honestly felt like we were inconvenience them

Usually love the food but extremely disappointed as I spent R1800 for an array of dishes but was served prawns that were old ,shells were black and bitter (pics as proof) I did not wish to make a scene as a baby shower was going on at the time, i just womt be back.

I recently dined at Jimmy's Killer Prawns at Gateway and was blown away by the quality of the food and the exceptional service. The prawns were perfectly cooked and had an amazing flavor - I could tell they were fresh and high-quality. The menu had a great variety of seafood dishes, and the sides were also delicious. I particularly enjoyed the garlic bread and the potato wedges. The staff was very attentive and provided great recommendations, which made my experience even better. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall atmosphere. I highly recommend Jimmy's Killer Prawns for anyone looking for a delicious seafood meal with great service.
