What a gem! Lovely drive to Herbertsdale, a close-knit community, delicious food at very affordable prices in a relaxing atmosphere, created by the most friendly people. Definitely not our last visit.

Great place to eat. The setting is wonderfull. It is a nice change to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big towns and enjoy the quietness of this lovely small village. At this restaurant the people are friendly and caring. The food is well priced and youcan expect to receive good size portions and it is also very tasty. I can highly recommend this place. Well done Voerkraal!

Delicious food, lovely relaxed atmosphere, great service and extremely good value for money. This restaurant is a little gem in Herbertsdale just a short drive from Mossel Bay. Highly recommended and a place we will definitely visit again

This is a true gem in Herbertsdale. The owners are hands on and extremely welcoming and attentive. The vetkoek is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and setting inviting and pretty. They have an extensive menu and cater to a variety of tastebuds.You feel the heat and soul of the owners after just one visit.The food is affordable making this a great treat and a worthwhile visit.I highly recommend the Voerkraal Herbertsdale.

We visited with the motorbike. There was place to hang the helmets and the jackets which is normally a schlep. The food is good and the service excellent. It is beautiful with all the plants that is surrounding the guests. I will definitely recommend Voetkraal Herbertsdale and will visit again.

An oasis in a small village but ìt doesn't live up to its promise. We ordered tea and got weak coffee. The toasted sandwich was barely toasted and the ingredients were overcooked.
