To cut story short, took my car to service, was given option to buy service kit from them or bring my own, they wrote things down on what to buy, I bought all that. Ff to a few weeks after service, light black smoke still coming out after service, the oil service maintenance required light came up, on enquiring with the expect (before contacting service center) was told either system was not cleaned before putting new oil and oil service was not resetted, advised the owner of this service Centre, and for him to tell me the oil I brought was not fully synthetic, but they went ahead and used wrong oil in my car without even bothering to inform me to get the right one, I was sitting there most of the service but nobody bothered to say anything but used wrong oil in my car, unacceptable.. And why would u service a car abd not reset oil maintenance intervals? Such a simple thing to do... As if that's not enough, the owner blaming me for using wrong oil in my car by saying 'I refused his quote and brought my own things!!! But u gave me the option to bring my iwn, and as a mechanic it's your duty to inform me what I bought is not correct, not just use it so u can damage my car so I can come back again with more work for u, I find that unethical and so plain wrong. I'm all for supporting our black owned business but not at the expense of damaging my property, I am not impressed at all, will not be coming back, and will ensure anyone I know don't come too. For me to bring my car here I was impressed by how the owner spoke of his service, but the reality and the words didn't match at all. Tx
