Papillon Riding Stables

I booked a park ride to experience horse riding for the first time and it couldn’t have gone any better! The staff were very friendly and professional, and quickly eased any nervousness that I had.They were patient, professional, and you can tell that they are very passionate about what they do. They were knowledgeable about their horses who seem very well cared for. It was a very pleasant experience and exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

My favorite days of the week are riding days thanks to Fanny; the most patient and knowledgeable riding coach I have ever had! She is an outstanding coach who continues to encourage, challenge and teach me new skills each and every lesson. In fact, the whole Papillon are team are amazing. They tailor the lessons to the individual needs of the rider, from first time riders to more experienced riders. They are fabulous with young and old alike. My grand daughters who had previously never had a lesson, absolutely loved their whole experience. I also love and admire the way they care for their horses. This is totally evident in their approach to lessons and quality of their horses (unfortunately unlike many other riding schools I have worked with). I would highly recommend their service. Hands down best riding school and coaches in Sydney!

My 8 yr old daughter was gifted a few lessons and had her first one today. She has been on a horse before but for some reason got very nervous today. Her instructor, Julia, was so calm and reassuring and the horse was incredible. The horse ended up just standing still for our 30 min lesson while my daughter patted it and asked questions and ended up sitting in the saddle for a photo. Julia never made us feel rushed or frustrated. Fingers crossed next week we get out of the stables.

I’ve had the pleasure and great privilege of weekly riding lessons at Papillon Riding Stables for the past 2 years. My Friday afternoon lessons are definitely the highlight of my week. The coaches are awesome. Professional, patient and very client-focussed, ensuring your riding experience is safe and fun. But of course, the Papillon horses are the best teachers of all! They are beautifully behaved, and it is abundantly clear how loved and well-cared for they are. I have really progressed in my riding journey thanks to the team at Papillon Riding Stables :)

Couldn’t recommend this school enough! I’ve been riding here for a few months and sadly had to stop as I’m moving to WA but I cannot wait to return. All the staff here are amazing and get to know you, they’re always up for a chat. I mainly worked with Bella and seen such progress in my riding and I have learned so many new skills. What I have learned here in a few short months has been invaluable!

I have been riding for over 15 years and started lessons at Papillon about two years. The instructors are professional and kind and provide excellent dressage training with a focus on harmony between horse and rider. The senior instructor is extremely knowledgeable, a natural teacher and very rigorous. The horses are exceptionally well cared for and beautifully trained. My riding has improved significantly since I started riding at Papillon.

I took my first ever riding lesson at Papillon and I enjoyed it very much. The coach really adapted to my beginner's level and explained me the basics, it made me want to learn more and get into riding. The horse was also lovely and beautiful.would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to ride. I wish I'd found this place earlier . The tuition is of a very high standard led by the wonderful Fanny and her team. It is also a very friendly place. The horses and ponies are very well looked after. I can highly recommend Papillon Stables.

Although I wasn't riding but my friend was, the experience was awesome. I felt tempted to have a ride. The staff were helpful, high on safety, value for money.

My 10 year old daughter Maia was given a stable day for her birthday at Papillion. She told me it was the best birthday present she has ever gotten!! The staff were amazing and attentive and she got to spend quality time with a lovely horse. She is hooked and I need to look into getting her lessons but only at this stables:) A fantastic day thanks to the lovely people. Thanks!!!!
