Awesome place, great live music. Glad they have pool tables, always nice to play a game and it adds to the atmosphere. Owners are friendly, helpful and involved with the customers. Ordered a black label draft and it was just slightly less cold than it should've been as the waiter explained due to loadshedding and he gave me my own ice bucket for my drink. Great service, will happily continue frequenting Winstons.

Management is incompetent, zero interest in assisting over the phone. Pathetic excuses the dart board is broken" more like we are to lazy to clear the area around the dart board. Won't be visiting this place again. Would not recommend."

So the food and service is amazing. Live music get's the night going - but select your seat carefully if you want to have deep conversations about answers to the existence of the universe. As always an enjoyable evening out.

We used to be regulars here but after Sunday's lunch we will think twice before going again. When we arrived we were advised that the only steak they have available was the T-Bone steaks. Not long after this we overheard the waiter tell another couple that the T-Bones were now also finished. We opted for the mince Nachos. What an utter disappointment. The menu advertises that the Nachos come with sour cream, salsa and guacamole. All we got was some mashed up avo, definitely not guacamole and no sour cream and no salsa. The cheese on the Nachos was like cold rubber and the mince was no more than a tablespoon of flavourless mince. The Nachos were dry and bland. 4 of us ordered the Nachos and 4 of us agreed it was totally awful. This is not the first time we have been to Winstons to find they have no steak available. Not sure we will be returning.

A bit dodgy but that's the type of place I like! Enjoyed the entertainment and the fillet steak was great at a decent price too! Will definitely be back!

Screw this place I'll never go back. Was sold on a steak egg and chips special but then when the bill come you have to pay for the egg separately. Waiter was great at first but later in the evening they just sat on their phone with no interest to serve us. Manager on duty was intoxicated and looked to be feeling up someone (socialising rather than working) when I wanted to enquire about the sound for the televisions outside. Horrible night tbh

Busy local pub in Randurg Johannesburg. Lots of food & drinks specials but personally my favorite is the support of live music acts. On this occasion the 25th anniversary tour of Wonderboom, what an awesome gig.

I probably do not get too much of a say considering I went on the busiest day of the boozing year...didn't get to eat or drink anything other than these slushies...Oh wait...that's not my fault!!Sadly my experience was just that...sad...I don't mind sticking out like a swollen thumb...but I did mind the refusal to serve me when I entered...the waitresses looked us dead in the eye and completely acted as if we were air...(I've never felt so thin before).After awkwardly making our way to the bar, the only person who was niceish to us was the bartender.We had our alcoholic slushies and then made our exit since food was clearly not going to be an option as the waitresses were 'faaaaaar' too busy to assist Little old me!I've rated it 3 stars since I do believe that the place is a vibe and something of a flagship for the Fairlands community. I'm not going to shoot it down based off one bad and unprofessional experience.I think from how busy the place actually was and the fact that it's been a long standing landmark, the layout is comfortable and I could definitely see it being a convenient and pleasant 'Sunday Game' pub to visit.(Perhaps they just need to work on those people skills).
