Lovely venue on another level than (Bosvark) its clean and well kept.Definitely a spot to check out and lovely sunsets with a fireplace that will make it nice and cozy in winter.

Bains Bench, what a place.Great value menu and drinks. Something about a 32 buck Windhoek just slaps. Food is brilliant.BB has everything you could ask for, a pool table, sports TV, kids playground and they even have live music some days.It was so good we had to go back. Bains Bench is a must for anyone driving through or visiting George.

I am in George to watch my son and a group cycle. On my way back from Oubaai on on R404, I by chance saw the poster and stopped off at Bain's Bench Eatery and Bar. Chanel, Manager, and Olwethu waiter have gone out of their way to make me comfortable. I parked here for 30 minutes while I went for a run, then I came back and ordered the most scrumptious breakfast and a superb coffee. All of this served with such care and kindness. I have sat here and worked on my laptop, waiting for the cycle group to pass by. I showed Chanel the live location and she told me I needed to rush down the R404 to where it meets the R102 to see them and she kindly looked after my laptop etc so that I could dash to the car! And I saw them!!!! Definitely a venue I would come back to for the service and the food!

Great place to take kids, n indoor activities for kids. Smoking areas, indoor and outside. Go here often. Very new but worth it. Average food priced. Hope it picks up for the owner. I enjoy it more than the branch in York street. Music in york is much too loud. Lovely fire place inside as well foe cozy winter evenings.
