PG Glass Head Office

After 4 weeks could not source a Windscreen. Really and yet it took Glasfit 1 day to source 1 day for authorization from the insurer and installation in 2 days. 2nd time PG has given me the run around but will be the last.

I went to PG Glass Westgate satellite branch on 25 March 2022 where I paid a deposit for installation of a front windscreen to my car at my premises.It is now 5 July 2022 and I still don't have a windscreen.First, I was told they were waiting for beading, then I was told they would install it at the mechanic where my car was at.I supplied the relevant details and nothing further happened.As this is not an insurance matter and I am paying cash, I expect reasonable service. I don't even want to give this service the one star, as it is abysmal. When you phone the branch, you get recorded messaging saying how wonderful PG Glass is, which you have to listen to for almost 3 straight minutes.When can I expect my windscreen?

Long story short, I had to wait eight days for a windscreen they ordered. But during this time I had no word of when to expect it to arrive. I phoned many times and spent hours on hold, was transferred to head office a few times but even they said they could not reach the Cresta branch after calling several times.

Poor service!!!First the wrong windscreen was ordered. Time wastage no1.Then I got a sms saying the new windscreen had arrived. I waited a week and a half and no one from PG glass phoned to arrange a time to come fit the new windscreen. I decided to phone them myself. I waiting so long on call with them wasting my airtime. The fitting was arranged the next day for 9 to 10 am. Come 10 am no one showed (obviously). I called PG glass and they changed the time of the windscreen fitting without my knowledge and agreement. Now I am still waiting for the service to be done. This is poor and just looking at the other reviews- isn't this company ashamed of the poor rating. Come on.

PG Glass in Centurion replaced my cars windscreen.I waited for the claim to be processed, they did not answer the calls, and after almost three weeks did eventually replace the windscreen.PG Glass removed the panel over the wiper mechanism, leaving the wiper system not working and not even replacing the securing screws. Also did the E-tag pick-up come off the windscreen within 3 days after fitment.The car was never in an accident, and everything was original and intact.I attempted to report this to PG Glass Head Office, and, after 20 minutes on the line, being transferred from one individual to the next, I could not get a responsible person to speak to! The line was actually dropped by the person at PG Glass Head Office!I cannot believe the poor service and the utter disrespect for your clients at both PG Glass Centurion AND PG Glass Head Office.I hope my insurance company will remove PG Glass off their list of suppliers. PG Glass's bad service is similar to the public service in South Africa. And that is no compliment!DON'T USE GP GLASS IN FUTURE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP BEING 100% FRUSTRATED!

Fantastic professional service, when fitting a new windscreen to my Honda S2000. The windscreen technicians Antonio and Jan carried their work out in the most efficient manner and explained the entire process. The communication with the call centre compliments the professional approach by P G Glass. Once again Thank You.

A claim was submitted 2 weeks ago via my Insurance Company to PG Glass. The job was allocated to PG Heidelberg. Still waiting for the replacement glass after 2 weeks. On the 16/03/23 I was contacted to arrange for the windscreen to be fitted 23/03/23. I re scheduled my day and on the morning I phoned Heidelberg to arrange a time of 13h00 because I was not contacted on the 22nd as promised. Guess what, they did not pitch and did not even have the courtesy to phone and advise they will not be coming. Pathetic customer service. I was given a choice of 4 service providers and chose PG, because they a better known brand but I now learnt that does not necessarily mean better service. I will be contacting my Insurance provider to allocated another service provider who might appreciate the business. I am done with PG Glass. It's actually shocking that my insurance company partners with PG Glass if this is the service provided! If i could choose to give less than the 1* I would.

I was pleasantly surprised with the professional internal layout of the reception and offices. Very modern and creative colours. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very warm environment. Brilliant review from me...

Jimmy Mkansa a call centre agent claiuming to be a manager was unable to resolve my issue and complain. He was not able to assist me after having had waited over 7 days for my windshield to be fixed by PG glass after my claim was approved by my insure . I asked him How do we resolve this issue to ensure my windsheild in installed by today considering the wait i have had to endure" and he had no answer. INstead he said

I was disgusted with the attitude of your employee Lebo... Absolutely useless needs a lot of training in Customer Service. I requested a windscreen replacement and I was told it takes over a week. I have previously used Glasfit Bonaero Park and they are SUPER EFFICIENT, if you place a claim with them on day 1 you are continously updated on the progress. The windscreen is replaced on day 2. Unfortunately with PG GLASS they seem to be all lost. I needed to phone to get an update on the progress. Your management needs to listen to the recording of Lebo to understand the lack of professionalism. I await an apology from the Departmental Head. She thinks that she is doing me a favour.
