Tucked away in a beautiful creative complex in Parys. One of the few galleries in the area to showcase contemporary South African art, and wow, what a selection! Had a chat with the gallery owners whilst there. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

What a delightful surprise. An unplanned stop in Parys for breakfast led to the discovery of this beautiful gallery. All the pieces I chose spoke to me personally and have a very particular meaning for me. All of them happened to be Gallery owner Phillip's. Definitely worth a drive by.

Do not under any circumstances skip this gallery when visiting Parys. The only gallery that offers truly unique pieces. We were welcomed with Mimosa's and the curator spent time engaging and explaining the art pieces.What an absolutely amazing experience!

What a gem! A beautifully curated collection containing an eclectic assortment of mediums, artists and subject matters. The collection is frequently updated and every visit is a new experience. Great range of price points too, from affordable mementos to collectors items. Coupled with a nice lunch, visiting this stunnig gallery is a perfect outing to Parys!

Definitely worth a pop in :-). If you like detours and distractions like I do, this lovely new art gallery in Parys, Free State, is the ideal pitstop if you are an avid art admirer or simply looking for some distraction driving up or down through the Free State. The Phillip Heenop Art Gallery offers quite affordable contemporary art as well as reasonably priced investment art. You may just find something that you like, like I did and some things that you feel that you may have to go back for, like I do :-)
