We have been twice and loved the experience. Always something new going on. And just love the comfort of the rooms and outdoor shower.

My family and I were looking to celebrate and family birthday in the bush but with the delicacies of hot water outside showers and heated pools. We got all that and more. Even the kids adored it. Louis, Hannes, Marelize and the rest of the team know exactly how to make your experience unforgettable. This is most certainly a winner! Can't wait for next year - booking already made!! J9

From the time we arrived till we left was an amazing experience. The hospitality was outstanding and they were very accommodating with all our children and needs. They have a large selection of animals from flamingos to caged parrots, their game animals are beautiful. The hunting was the best we have experienced! Thank you for having us we can’t wait to come back.

We had the most fantastic stay. The views and wildlife are incredible, and the accommodation is beyond comfortable with great attention to detail in every aspect. The staff are incredibly accommodating, hospitable and attentive.

Wat een heerlijke plek! Wij reisden met een groep van 6 incl. ons zoontje van 1.5 jaar. Gelijk werd er aan de kleine gedacht en werd er een omheining om het zwembad gezet. Door de gastvrijheid voelde we ons direct op ons gemak. Personeel staat altijd voor je klaar en helpt je overal mee.Wij verbleven hier 3 nachten, en hebben verschillende safari's gedaan. De verhalen van Louis over de dieren en het gebied waarin ze leven zijn heel informatief. Ook een hike naar een afgelegen waterval met een natuurlijke zwembad eronder was schitterend.Kamers zijn super luxe en worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Je hebt alle faciliteiten tot je beschikking. Als afsluiting nog een Whiskey proeverij gedaan! Als wij terug gaan naar Zuid-Afrika dan komen we hier zeker terug!

Excellent stay! The accommodation is clean and luxurious. The attention to detail and friendliness of the staff is the cherry on the cake.

We visited Shakawe and it was a lovely experience. Amazing wildlife that you get to see up close.Amenities are great, the bush walk to the rock pool was our favourite!There is something about a place with a personal touch to it, and this is one of those places. Definitely recommend!
