You need to run after the waiters - cause in South Africa most of the workforce is mentally defected - but other than that, it's a wonderful place. Good beers, the food is 4/5, they have Vasti singing there sometimes. Gosh the scenery is perfect! Also for kids it's ideal, cause of the covered play ground, smaller animal farm with ostrich and horse and goats ...etc... so yeah, if you want to take the whole family and wanna get low key drunk on good quality stuff, while the kids/wife are entertained - because you had enough of this F@@@ing life and soon you gonna start to murder ppl; just want to chill and maybe hike a bit - Iron Throne is the place for you!

Nice play area but it is all in the blazing sun! We went for breakfast and they had NO COFFEE!! I ordered the eggs benedict, the menu said home made scone, I got a hamburger bun! The predator park is nice, they had lions, tigers, leopards etc...

What a fantastic find in Hartebeespoort. The venue is very nice with a Game Of Thrones theme. The ambiance was great with the live band performing old favourites. The food was excellent and there is a great selection of craft beers. There is a lot for the kids to do: jumping castle, play area, plastic bike oval and an enclosure with lots of wild and tame animals.

New owners, what a great vibe and food! Live music, drink and food specials all through the week. Forget about what you know of Iron Throne and how it used to be. Fabulous playground for kids as well with supervision!!!This is their burger special think it was R49?! Where in your life in Harties

Iron throne hosts a parkrun on Saturdays at 8am. Friendly RD ,trail 5km ,follow the arrows. Don't expect a PB at this venue. Stay for coffee and breakfast after

Visited Saturday morning. Great food, friendly service, and the Mango beer is the best. Definitely a place I would recommend.

What a place such a nice vibe. Only thing I'll work on, is your mango beer not worth the drink at all. It's to similar to the cold drink you buy in the shops not sure who thought of that idea but it's not a good idea. Other than that the service is quiet slow but am sure it can be Improved. Background music to loud.

Nice setting with live music. Kids playground very nice with a lot to do. Farm animals kep kids entettained. Extra is the lions and a tiger. All nicely caged. Lions are part of a rehabilitation program. Food is nice and there is a wide variety of draught beers.

This place is rad. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone. They even have a kids play area. My best place to be when visiting.

Very disappointing. We arrived just before lunch, only to hear that they had no drinks on tap (but they are a brewing company?!)We were willing to ignore that and ordered typical soft drinks, however, when they brought a dirty glass, I was done. We paid for our drinks and left, not willing to risk the food.Won't be back.
