Careful Movers - Furniture Removals and Storage

Disgraceful company, disgraceful service. Avoid them at all costs. My furniture has not been delivered a week after collection. Their truck wasn't large enough for the furniture, and they didn't provide a trailer for my motorbike as promised. They promise 24/7 service, but you just can't get hold of them. They just don't keep you informed. I don't know what to do at this stage and am highly irate and stressed.

Would not use or recommend this company. Service was great in the beginning, friendly and professional.I made mistake of paying them before hand and when pick up day came, they arrived at the location 4-5 hours late which caused us to move flights (even though they were advised of departure times) and so we incurred extra costs.- No apologies given from main office.Drop off to Johannesburg was advised it would take place the next day but it arrived 3 days late. Inbetween this time we tried to call countless times to find out what was happening but no one answered from main office. We kept calling drivers who gave us wrong information. We were just releaved to receive our belongings.Extremely terrible communication, even worse time management and most of all lack of care for customers.

Excellent Mover! The moving company's effective packing method and top-notch moving vehicles made my move a success. They are truly amazing in terms of everything. Excellent service!

All the furniture neatly together for us . It only took them 5 days to deliver all the other companies I contacted was going to take 2 plus weeks. even thou the hurricane hit us they still delivered. That is what got them the good review for great quick service.

Does this company even exist? Once the deposit is paid you get ghosted". And get told By Blessing

Please do no use this company, they are very unreliable.I had contacted careful movers to assist me with my move to Johannesburg.At first the service was excellent, they were very responsive and efficient.They were very quick to give a quote and promised to pick up my furniture on the day I needed and deliver it too.They required a deposit before the move, which I paid. Thereafter they sent me a calendar invite for time and date of pick up. On the day I phoned Blessing and he reported the truck is on its way. I waited the whole day and they did not show up. I was forced last minute to find an alternative company to fetch my items. I phoned them the next day and they didn’t answer, I managed to get hold of them 2 days after, Blessing then told me the truck will be coming on that day. Since I had to make other arrangements and the company did not follow through on their promises and service, I requested they refund my deposit. Blessing agreed to refund me on the phone. I have still not gotten my refund which was a significant amount of money, now they do not answer any of my calls or messages.Please do not ever use this company they are very unprofessional and unreliable, and will hit you down for your money, do not be fooled by their initial efficiency.

This is an absolute joke of a moving company! After I requested a quote, the communication was swift and “Blessing” called me the next day to confirm the inventory list and enquire which items required bubble wrap. I duly paid the amount due and was sent a Google Calendar entry for 9am on the day of the move with a caveat that the moving team could arrive within an hour of the stated time. I was blown away by this great service up to this point. Then comes moving day. Nobody has shown up by 10am and imagine my shock when none of my phone calls are answered and one number has been “disconnected”. I can see the business WhatsApp account “online” with still no response until 12:30 to say the movers “quickly finishing” another job. Still no communication from management or the movers themselves. When I try call for an update my calls are ignored and I’m and amongst this, load shedding was blamed. It was laughable. Eventually the movers arrive nearly five hours late. It doesn’t stop there. Did they have bubble wrap? Of course not. Were they “careful”? Not one bit. I have tables with scratches and marks on the couches. When we asked if they could keep pillows and soft items in plastic they said they only keep mattresses covered. Overall this was some of the most pathetic customer service I have ever experienced. If you value your time, money and furniture, AVOID “CAREFUL” MOVERS AT ALL COSTS!!

How good can a moving company be? This company is fantastic. Reasonable prices and they move very quickly. I referred them to some friends, and everyone has had a great experience with them. Everything has been well taken care of, no damage. Highly recommend using them.

They came ..they packed ...They moved !! That simple. My stuff got there on time and they actually gave me a few days storage for some stuff until I found a place for it at the house. Bottom line if I ever do move in my life again , I know who to call.
