Desert Springs Spur Steak Ranch
Visited the end of March 2023 on a Sunday afternoon, during a stay-over on our way back from Bloemfontein to Knysna. Developed a severe stomach infection that night and had to rush back to Knysna the next day, requiring medical treatment. Will avoid in future.

Spur food always classically liked. Play area needs attention though as it has a football game but no ball and only one toilet in men's room which is a bit of a turndown.

A decent meal. You can't really go wrong with spur. There were a coupe of small details from a staff perspective that needed more attention, but overall the staff were polite and friendly and the food arrived on time. Is it just me or did spur change the recipe on the dressing sauce?

Great place for anything from a drink to a full meal. Super service, tasty food. Bit cheap and cheerful. Sometimes too much kid noise earlier in the evening. Great happy birthday routine by the staff. Great burgers and fries.

We visited on New Year's eve around 6pm. (The restaurant stayed open until 10pm)It is a typical Spur, so we knew what to expect. The food was amazing - fresh & well prepared. The service was outstanding! Drinks & food came quickly.Play area is very limited, with not much to keep kids entertained. They ended up rather sitting with us at the table.Overall a very pleasant experience.

Telephonic order but had to wait half and hour more for the food to be ready. Didn't appreciate the waiting that's why I called in my request to just pick up and go not go and stand around aimlessly.

Only there for a quick stop and go. Staff were friendly. Service was good. Patrons also gave the atmosphere a calm and welcoming feeling
