Stephanie kept me updated all the time with regard to the progress on my car. On arrival she was extremely professional. She went out of her way to find the best price for some of the parts that needed replacing. They are far more professorial and way better priced than the KIA dealership. I'd definitely use them again. Thank you.

On the 1st of August I took my car in after I had booked it over the phone, I needed help as my car was giving me black smoke and using too much petrol. Upon arrival I asked one of the technicians what serviced they do, and he mentioned they did all services including engine overhauls. My car was then take in for a diagnostic check and I was given a report as is, NOT even an attempt to clear some of the faults and do a repeat as I have seen it be done by even guys from the streets. After that I was told I needed to pay for that single diagnostics but take my car to an electrician, who will obviously do his/her own diagnostics for another fee. I do not understand why do they even do diagnostic checks if they cant fix electrical issues as it is part of faults picked up by diagnostics checks or at least try and clear some of the faults, this was a rip off, I will never recommend this place nor return.

Never delivers on time. Fix one then and overlook another, or is it for return business...Plan and make arrangements in advance, but then they react late afternoon, so your parts aren't here yet". This being midmorning before a long weekend and the car's been there for over a day already. The first visit had the car there for 3 days

On Tuesday 6 December 2022 I booked my vehicle a Lumina SSV Ute in for a minor oil change service. Based on a previous observation after receiving my vehicle back in January 2022 after a service, of excessive fuel consumption, I took photos of the kilometer reading and Avg Fuel consumption at 07.37 before handing over the keys for this service to be done. Upon collecting the vehicle in question I took new photos at 16.58 of the same indicators and to my disgust found that +/- 5 km's were driven in this time frame with an astounding Avg Fuel consumption of 66.2l/100km! In my opinion as the owner of this vehicle it is quite obvious that the vehicle was either driven at a very high speed or excessively over-revved to achieve this type of fuel consumption. I immediately reported this to the reception and the Workshop Manager/.Supervisor " and requested that this matter be investigated and feedback be provided by the manager/owner regarding this abuse of my vehicle. The workshop manager/supervisor informed me that it is standard practice for any vehicle brought in for a service (apparently irrespective of the type of service) to be driven before the service is conducted to check the performance of the vehicle. It is clear that the person that drove/dealt with my vehicle did exactly that!!! What is of even further concern is that I was contacted at +/_ 13:06 and informed that the engine mountings of this vehicle are severely worn and needs replacement. This begs the question whether this abuse of the vehicle while in Bosch's possession contributed to this condition? To date 15:24 on 8 December 2022 I received no feedback/reply or further communication from Bosch in this regard. I am definitely not happy with this situation and will not recommend anybody (after making use of this service for +/- 6 years) to service any vehicle at Bosch Auto Expedi8 Alberton - Gateway Branch. At Bosch Auto Expedi8, the service provided by Stephanie was of the highest calibre. My assistance was provided in a prompt and effective manner. The price was very fair and affordable. I am overjoyed that they went through such a comprehensive check list in order to identify any potential problems with my vehicle of which I was unaware. I was given an explanation that was clear enough for me to comprehend what the issues were. I am relieved to have located a workshop that is both trustworthy and run in a professional manner.
