Klein Nektar Wine & Olive Estate

Staying on a farm always brings with it a sense of adventure and rest ; and that’s exactly what staying here does. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, and tucked between the stunning mountain ranges on either side of the valley, it really creates a sense of adventure when you go for a walk or simply look out your window. And with the quiet from the city and the sound of nature around you, you cannot help but start to feel rested not long after arriving. The staff, and the owners were kind and very generous toward us too , providing wood to braai each evening and a delightful welcome surprise ( you will have to stay here yourself stay to find out what). The Cottage is also perfectly situated, being walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. If you’re staying in Montagu, or simply passing through, I definitely recommend at least one nightat Klein Nektar Cottage.

Kai and Alan are such wonderful hosts. The manor is tranquil and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was simply world class with organic products from the property. We highly reccommend this lovely guest house.Andre and Abby

We had a fantastic time at the Klein Nektar Farm. The setting of the Cottage among the olive trees is stunning and offers a lot privacy. Our son enjoyed running around in the fenced garden and feeding the chicken. The hosts were also super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We definitely hope to come back soon .

Nice place,clean,well maintained . Uniquely nestled in the olive farm makes for great farm stay over.One thing though is guests should be warned this place is OFF THE GRID, ia no electricity. Gas and battery drives lights, warm water and stove. But no way to dry hair and charging cellphone is minimum. But it is a lovely over night stay spot.

Beautiful and tranquil venue. The room was perfect and the service was great.

I booked the accommodation but I did not notice a big detail that the house was off the grid (My bad, this was very clear in the description). Because I was on a working trip, the wifi and laptop charger was indispensable. The property managers made arrangements and was very understanding of the situation. We had excellent communication and they were extremely helpful with everything! I'll definitely come back on a different circumstance.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Manor House at Klein Nektar in April, and we were blown away. The Manor house as two bedrooms and multiple living spaces that are luxurious and so well put together. The farm is lovely and the outdoor space and pool are great too. If you're going to Montagu you should definitely stay here. We loved it and didn't want to leave!!
