Hermie from Uitkyk Insleepdiens in Springbok is a magic man. He went out of his way, after hours. Our Caddy went in to have a new flywheel fitted. They removed the gearbox to do the job. A week after we got it back, the gearbox collapsed outside Garries. Hermie contacted VW and arranged for them to call me, as the job was under warranty. He then went out to Garries and collected the Caddy and took it to Springbok where they put my partner up in a guesthouse for the night. The following morning, the car was taken to VW Upington. Thank you Hermie for your amazing service. You are a star!

We broke down in Namibia, just outside the border and they came to assist us when the AA company couldn't at 1am in the morning. They checked and corrected the car problems when we got to Springbok. Very friendly.

Wow Hermie from Uitkyk Towing literally saved my German Guests life. After leaving my guest house in CPT my guests got stuck in sand in Namaqaland without water or food 40 km from the nearest town and 100km from Springbok. Luckily they managed to find signal some distance from their car and were able to contact me after 3 hrs and I immediately called Uitkyk Towing. On a Friday afternoon Hermie was so kind and immediately got into his bakkie and rushed to their aid. On route he had a blowout and still reached them to find the couple exhausted and dehydrated. He pulled them out of the sand and helped them back to Springbok. What amazing service thank you so much Hermie and Uitkyk. If it wasn’t for you this German couple would have been in serious trouble in a life threatening situation. Puik diens!!!
