Had a very bad experience. Went to them 3 months ago to quote me on a custom build and told them the function of the equipment . They agreed and I paid the deposit . We gave them the information and send a tutorial video link, on how it should work. We had to continuously, follow up on a weekly basis with little to no work done on our equipment. We had to source all the parts ourselves, even though they are located in an industry area. They lack of communication and were giving us false information. We eventually got frustrated. At the end , we ended up picking well below par workmanship, that was a joke. We ended up finding someone to build the equipment in a single day. Wish we had found him in the beginning.

Bad experience with this place. We showed them videos and sent links of what we wanted, they agreed. Why would you agree to do a job that you know you cannot do? Even with measurements and specifications, they wouldn't have had much progress as they couldn't even source the parts for the project THEY AGREED TO. Absolutely horrendous.

I felt a little concerned about paying for an order from a company I found on Facebook, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Ordered a custom fireplace and it is really beautiful and well-made. Great service from Dominique and the team at the store. Thanks so much!

I always use Pat's when I need steel plates and bar, they are about the only ones close to me that sells the smaller sizes, their prices are reasonable although I find their cost of bending a bit Ludacris, the other day they charged R80 for 2 bends on a 330mm length plate, but apart from that their workshop staff is very helpful, so for those small and large steel jobs, I recommend Pat's, they also sell power tools I bought a cordless impact Gun from them recently, good quality and reasonably priced, and they have a small hardware too, well worth a visit.

Very bad experience! We waited nearly a half an hour for a price and second hand steel. The manager was extremely rude and threatened me and pointed in my face! The level of service has declined. Mr Pat is a true gentleman and a hard worker. I spoke to him last week and he assured me that he cannot retire because he has to watch his sons handling his business! Now I know what he meant! I will NOT be back as the manager told me to buy elsewhere! This is the type of service these youngsters want to offer! Deeply offended! You might get the same treatment!
