Cathy’s Kitchen Paternoster
From arrival to departure Cathy's is just an experience never to forget. I find South African staff in the service industry much more friendly than up north in Namibia. We ordered Egg Benedict, perfectly made, great presentation, and sauce hollandaise to die for. They had to ask if I want my eggs runny (which is the way) or hard. If you eat your eggs hard, Egg Benedict is not for you and your preference does not filter down as my frustration when ordering. The picky eater, Lara even enjoyed the flapjack stack and complimented it. That in itself is world changing and she took selfies with her food. Sebastian, anything goes at this stage. Wifey's order was Salmon Blini and so she loved it too. Proud eateries who brands their glasses get's a special place up top.

Cathy’s Kitchen Paternoster
Beautiful little spot in Paternoster for breakfast. All meals ordered were fresh, delicious and well presented. The staff are all pleasant and friendly. Service was a little slow as we waited about 25 minutes for 3 teas and about 45 minutes for our food. The place was busy so perhaps an additional waiter during the festive period is required...besides the slow service, we will definitely be back at Cathy's for our next trip to Paternoster

Cathy’s Kitchen Paternoster
Great little breakfast spot. Centrally located with a limited but delicious menu. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They actively support a local children's charity and you can donate directly to the charity when paying your bill. Only open for breakfast and lunch so go early.

Best experience during our stay in Paternoster. Fantastic food with speedy service. The bobotie pancake was excellent, as well as the ham and cheese croissant.

Utter perfection! Pure bliss! Food, service and ambiance were all five stars! They are even dog friendly. While it's not on the menu you have to ask for a mimosa...the perfect cherry on top

So happy to have discovered this unexpected little gem. Perfectly positioned to be able to stroll to beach but not so close as to be part of the throng. Simply and tastefully decorated. Top notch service and attentiveness from all staff. Perfect for a sip and a light meal. The food, served super quickly, beautifully presented and FRESH. Tasted lovely and cost was surprisingly budget friendly. Pet friendly too! Our furkid got a clean fresh water bowl AND a doggie biscuit, on the house.Cherry on top was knowing that a portion goes directly to disadvantaged local community. Perfect! We will definitely add this to our all seasons, list.

Visited a few days ago on a quick visit to Paternoster on our way back to Cape Town.We walked around and drove around looking for a place to eat and some staff from another restaurant that had not opened yet recommended Cathy's and what a good recommendation. On the corner heading to the beach, opposite Die Kom accommodationIt's a small cosy place, service was quick, prices reasonable. 3 of us had chicken wraps and it was really good. Definitely a place we will remember for our next visit
