These guys are helpful and instil a sense of trust. I booked my computer in for repairs and it's ready within the week. I'm not sure if that is a normal timeline, but I thought it was quick and impressive.

Friendly staff but terrible at communication. They didn't even know they had a Facebook page where I messaged them about netbooks I dropped off 2 years ago. Went in again and my netbooks were being wiped for their personal use, I asked to be told how much my netbooks repair cost over e-mail, still nothing weeks later. - Big Nik

Do NOT take your computer here!!! They will waste your time and deliberately create further problems with your laptop!! I waited for 3 weeks with NO communication from them regarding progress with my laptop! Went I got there using my own petrol they were pompous and arrogant and showed no regard for not communicating and updating me. I had paid upfront but I was given no preference in terms of logistics like narrow time to finish the repair. Instead of replacing my harddrive what they did is mess with the laptops power. I asked for my refund and they said YOU HAVENT PAID ANY MONEY HERE" luckily I had my receipt and gave it to them! Meaning if I didn't have my receipt they weren't gonna give me my refund! Do NOT go there promise me!!!"

Pretty good place to get electronics. Supplier is in Port Elizabeth so it's quite fast. Can take a moment for replacement parts but never had a problem.

The staff at Ampere are such wonderful people! After months of trying to find the issue with my computer by myself, Ampere diagnosed the issue and replaced the parts at an amazing (basically unbeatable) price. As soon as I agreed to the quote, I got my PC back in a matter of hours. My computer was taken great care of and runs like a dream! I would recommend Ampere over and over again. What a horrible experience, I left my laptop two weeks ago, came back today to check on the progress since they didn't communicate throughout the week, I got there and they said my laptop doesn't work whereas I left it in a good condition, all I wanted was them to change my hard drive since it was making my laptop slow, they couldn't do a simple thing and their response was there's nothing we can do
