The hotel is not modern, however, the rooms are comfortable and clean....a little dated and in need of a makeover.

Sweet and simple hotel with great staff and a top notch location. Our room was clean and basic with fabulous sea views and a tiny but very functional kitchenette. The restaurant serves decent food so you can just check in and chill out.

Clean rooms, hot water, helpful staff and delicious food. Chippie the chef was great and several of the hikers wanted to take him home. As a vegetarian I'm used to having very little choice at hotels and restaurants but Chippie went out of his way to make sure I was catered for and had several dishes to choose from.

Great place to get away from the big city madness. Amazing view. Friendly staff. And some great experiences within walking and driving distance of the hotel. Highly recommended for those seeking a little tranquility and disconnect from a busy life.

Spend a wonderful few days here. What an amazing experience. Rooms lovely...clean and airy. Breakfast nice and filling. Had our room upgraded. The staff and owners were all super friendly. Will be back soon

The service was good. Staff was professional and friendly. One of our rooms were upgraded to a sea view room. Was very nice. Our room did not have a sea view but was still nice and big.

Mitford Hotel Morgan Bay
We stayed in the Mitford Hotel in Morgansbay in November 2019 and had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The meals were excellent and reasonable priced. Kei Mouth is a short ride away and both towns have very well maintained lawn bowling greens. The people from the area are very friendly and welcoming and we had a wonderful holiday. The scenery is fantastic. Will visit again.

Engaged staff were helpful and friendly. We had a great time at Mitford. A walk up the Morgan Bay cliffs for sunset, a hike to the lighthouse, and exploring the rock pools at Double Mouth are great ways to keep fit on your holiday.If you pop into the restaurant at Mitford, the burgers are really delicious and the chef puts in a lot of effort on the yummy vegetarian and vegan options.

The location of this hotel is its biggest drawcard. The rooms are comfortable but are in need of a lot of TLC. The hotel is quit noisy and the rooms are not sound proof. We could not get a good night's rest and will not stay here again if ever in Morgan Bay.

Mitford Hotel Morgan Bay
I stayed in Sea Shell, a delightful self-catering studio, with the most spectacular views, a comfortable queen-size bed and a fully equipped kitchen (with full-size stove and fridge). The staff are super-friendly and the fish and chips totally delicious.
