The Bed Shop Greenstone

Bought a bed here. They gave me free delivery cost they don't keep anything on stock. I had a bakkie. Manager apologized that it was their loss not mine.

Very very bad service..the sign on the door said he will back in 5 mn..apparently the guy was inside laying down and was playing on his phone..II wasted 30 mn there for nothing

Opening time are stated on website and store front but no one answers the phone even 30 min after Opening times.

The bed shop at Greenstone Crescent Shopping Centre offered me very bad service for my money. The store manager convinced me to deposit an amount of R13,700 into a capitec bank account after my card declined at the store and he promised to deliver my beds on a delivery date; only to find out that, the manager had swindled me and had absconded with my money.The most frustrating part of the story was the bed shop failed as an employer to follow up on this situation. My attempt to contact the owner and the General Manager was futile and they didn't want to take full responsibility.After a long push and pull with the management they offered one entry level bed as compensation for the two beds that came with 2 pillows valued at R13,700.Thereafter, i took this matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman (CGSO) and opened a police case against the store manager. Thereon, the CGSO corresponded with the bed shop and the owner acknowledged receipt.Efforts to track down the store manager by the police only brought out other similar pending cases against the store manager; who is confirmed to be drug addict (junkie). According to his landlord, the landlord has taken over the store manager's apartment due to non payment of rent.At the end, the owner and the General Manager blamed me for negligence on my part hence it is not their responsibility.My argument is :a. The Bed Shop should be able to do background and security checks on their employees. This shows to confirm that the bed shop as an employer didn't go through due diligence in employing their employees.b. It is confirmed that this wasn't the first time he had done this to a customer.For this reason, the bed shop was negligent for employing such a character.c. The Bed shop was suppose to be responsive to my plea but their response was inadequate. I had to chase them around and made all the calls.They haven't even apologized up to this day.d. Upon my results from the CGSO. Should it not be favourable I am willing the take up a civil and criminal suit against the employer and employee respectively.In conclusion please be advised to be careful. This can happen to you at any shop.

Best service recieved for a long time. I purchased a fantastic bed at a ridiculous price. The quality of this beds is unbelievable. I will definately advise all my friends to buy from the bedshop.

Our mattress made noises after 2 years of use.We went back to the Stoneridge shop to ask about guarantee.We didnt have the purchase slip but they found us on their system and without asking any questions they said we will get a new mattress.We did recive it a day later delivered to our house with no cost.Great costumer service !
