Nieuwedrift Wine Estate
Food and atmosphere was very good! All the dishes were very tasty! The chicken strips, The pizza and cheesecake for desert were all soooo yummy! We enjoyed the nice background music. The mist to cool off and the tranquil surrounding. There is a nice playground for the children while you are relaxing and enjoying just taking a breather. Our waitress was friendly and polite. All over great staff. Take a break from the road. Just of the N7 after Piketberg you can have a nibble before heading home to Cape Town.

The best pizza I ever had and the addition of a class of their very own Chardonnay made it even better. It was an exceptionally hot day, so I kinda missed the cool mist that was promised online, and our waitress was a newbie, so the service was fair but not excellent. And the entire area was enclosed with shade net, so no awesome views, sadly.

We had a burger and a calamari. The food was really good and the staff were very nice. Tasted their delicious wine with the farmer and lived it too. Place is perfect as a venue or spot to eat and taste wines. Recommended

We recently visited the restaurant on Nieuwedrift Wine Estate and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and there were plenty of options for kids. The staff and management were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.The highlight of the experience, however, was the incredible views of the surrounding areas. The restaurant's location on a wine farm provided a picturesque backdrop for the meal, and we enjoyed our time there immensely.In summary, if you're looking for a great restaurant with good food, kid-friendliness, great views of surrounding areas, and friendly staff and management, look no further than this restaurant. Highly recommended!

Nieuwedrift Restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of the Swartland. The restaurant offers delicious food, impeccable service, and a cozy ambiance that makes for an unforgettable experience. The waitstaff is attentive, and eager to provide recommendations. The dishes are perfectly prepared, and will keep you satisfied whilst enjoying the view and glass of wine. The lovely wines are harvested and produced on the farm. I highly recommend Nieuwedrift Restaurant to anyone passing by on the N7 for a memorable stop.

If you looking for the best Beef Burger you will ever taste you can surely order it here. Breakfast is also a winner. Their MCC is top class. Kids love to play at their play area and love the outdoors. Friendly staff and always go out of their way to suit your needs. Thank you Nieuwedrift you guys are awesome.

Nieuwedrift Wine Estate
We had our H.O.G. Winelands Chapter Sunday Outride to Nieuwedrift Wine Estate. Tranquil setting, friendly staff and good service. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and the menu included vegan options too. The winemaker was also at the restaurant when we arrived and warmly welcomed us and invited us to tour the estate. Clean restroom facilities and all health protocols observed.

Very friendly and relaxed environment with good service and very tasty but limited menu. The pizza and hamburgers were excellent. The Nieuwedrift wines are excellent. The wines that stood out the most for me was their Chenin blanc, Chiraz and Chiraz Blanc de Noir. Well worth a pop in when you're on the N7 near Piketberg.

Best local pizza, beer and company either side of the Bergrivier. Worth the visit and many re-visits!
