Overcharged and bad mani / pedi…Booked full pedi with gel - asked manicurist if she had time for mani after my pedi - which after checking with desk - she said that she had time for the mani with gel.Pedi - really not great. No massage and didn’t paint to edges. Looks like pedi has already grown out.Mani was less than basic - no soak, no massage, no cuticle oil and really bad paint job - painted right over edges of nails and most nails are streaky.Charged for Full Pedi With Gel & Full Mani with Gel. Was in and out in under 40 minutes and cost over R1k! Really not impressed. Pics taken less than 4 hours after service.

Went for a Hollywood wax and a lash and brow tint - This is the second time I have had poor treatment there - I will not be going back. The therapists do not know what they are doing, asking me how long I think the tint should be left on for?! Still hair left after the full Hollywood, lash tint hardly recognisable on lashes & brows are black where I specified brown as I have blonde hair? Really not that hard to accomplish - Extremely upsetting - Took just over an hour for absolutely nothing.

I was a regular wash and blow customer and was constantly pestered by Nuran to get a Japanese silk treatment. I had gorgeous curls and asked her several times if it would affect my curl pattern. Everytime she said it wouldn’t. My hair is colour treated and the chemical they put on my hair didn’t mix well.The stylist assured me the treatment was more like a deep conditioner and would wear if in a few weeks.Fast forward to today. My hair is completely straight, damaged and broken off. I now need to cut off the hair because of the damage done by the stylists who just wanted to make a sale.IM A EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF MY CURLS WOULD BE AFFECTED.

Sabrina gave me a faaaab gelish mani and was such lovely energy.My partner had an excellent pedi.They were super accommodating and it was really clean.

I loved the nails I got done. Acrylic with tips, all the ladies that worked there were pleasant. I normally do not like getting my nails done but this was a pleasant experience. My nails lasted over 2 weeks as my regrowth is slow.

A pretty badly done gel manicure. Didn’t notice it at the shop but realised it was bumpy and raised.A week later, it started lifting and peeling on the sides. Ended up needing to remove it myself and it peeled right off. Very disappointing considering I paid a pretty penny for it and I’ve always had a a good experience at the Sorbet hair bar so I expected much better from the nail bar.

Sorbet at the point centre in sea point was beyond disappointing. I went in for a fill of bio sculpture on my hands and a soak off and reapplication of gelish on my toes. Mercy who did my finger nails had NO MERCY as she filed the bio sculpture off my nails until they almost felt like they were burning.. I had to tell her to stop because I was in agony. Then when she had finished, my nails looked so thin and dry (seen in photos) and she had filed so hard my cuticles had been grazed by the file. Then it came to painting… not only did she not paint all the way to the edge of my nail but when she did, she didn’t clean it so the bio sculpture/ gel polish cured ON MY SKIN. The shape of my nails was all wonky and different to one another. The lengths were different and it wasn’t the shape I had asked for. She even filed half my pointer nail off and said it was like that before. The lines of the paint is skew too.There was also hardly any sanitising happening when she would pick up a new tool to use(I don’t know how many clients they had been used on before getting cleaned).I will never go back there again. The service was unfriendly and unprofessional and not what I expect from a Sorbet in such a busy centre.It’s such a pity too because I had such a wonderful experience at Sorbet Hyde Park (Johannesburg) mid November.

Not great. Salon was not the cleanest. Very few gelish colors to choose from and the color wheel was in such chocking condition it was almost unreadable/unusable. Was recommended a polish brand that I’ve never seen before and my fingers turned out bubbly and thick. Toe nail paint was okay but I now have an in grown toenail which I have not had in years. Won’t be going back.

I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received.My toes were so badly done, 5 toes on the left foot had a glossy top coat and the 3 toes had a matte top coat on the right foot. My fingers had bubbles and so poorly done and they were smudged. I phoned and complained as well as I mentioned that I wanted a different lady to fix them because I was so unhappy with who did them in the first place. However Sorbet at the Point ignored my request to have a different lady. She redid my fingers and just redid the top coat on my toes. My nails are WORSE than when I first complained. This is NOT up to sorbet standards and if I wanted such bad nails I would have done them myself.I have now emailed sorbet and I keep getting told the manager of the store will call me regarding a solution but it seems that the manager and this sorbet branch are so unprofessional to even bother to phone me back and you'd think that after all the bad reviews from THIS store that maybe they would change their attitude.My nails are now worse than when these pictures were taken.Disgusting.

I made an appointment in person, was told they would call me if any issues. Showed up for my appointment and it wasn’t on the system. They did try to book me in at their other branches and the lady helping me was apologetic. But the lady who booked me in initially ignored the whole situation
