CARtime Kokstad

I recently had an issue with my Nissan Patrol, while travelling through Kokstad. Bruce Scott and his team went above and beyond to sort what was an electrical fault and fixed it really well. Bruce personally gave me a lift to a rental car agency, so I could get to my destination while he waited on the parts he ordered. He also helped me get the car delivered all the way to East London when the work was completed in quick time. They are really a professional and brilliant outfit. Highly recommendable!

Just after leaving Durban on my way to the Eastern cape my clutch on my Citi Golf failed and it became evident by the time I got to go Kokstad but I would have to have my clutch seen to. Not sure of where to go and using Google Maps I searched for the best place to go to get an opinion and some mechanical assistance. I settled on Cartime and made it to their workshop a little before the end of the work day on Saturday.After a dodgy adjustment to my clutch cable I was informed that my clutch had to be replaced entirely and I was given a quotation of R7200.00 to replace a standard clutch kit for a VW Golf. And I was informed that my car would only be seen too on the Monday at 07h30.While I was trying to see what else could be done or where else I could go, one of the workshop staff came to me, independently, and notified me that if I gave him R4000.00 in cash; that he, could fix my clutch for me that afternoon at his home and have my car back to me by that night.The whole experience was an absolute joke and I do not recommend that anyone who does not have any car or mechanical knowledge goes to this place, because they literally will take advantage of you and they will try and rip you off and utilise your misfortune as a cash cow. Bloody vultures. By Monday I found a reputable workshop and after a solid job was done I paid R4180.00 incl. A R3020 difference.

Fantastic treatment. Very courteous and helpful staff. As we hit trouble on our way from EL to Durban, they gave us instantaneous attention and ensured that we could continue on our way. They even checked if we reached safely. Highly recommended.

Get help fast and not to expensive
