This is the best EB branch in Cape Town! The staff are helpful and takes an interest to help finding a book you're after. The layout of the shop is spacious, with enough seating to get comfortable while perusing. There is a peaceful and calm atmostphere in the shop. You also feel safe as security moves throughout aisles, keeping a good watch. The highlight for me is the kids section! It's so inviting with comfortable beanbags and kiddies chairs. Their selection of children's books is extensive and you'll be spoilt for choice. We always leave your shop with a bag full of books and happy hearts. Keep up the good word EB Cavendish!

A wonderfully stocked and organized book store. There is a good amount of seating and a Vida-E coffee shop in the store itself. The kids section is lovely and spacious. I appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff are as well.They also offer gift wrapping in their signature paper (at a cost of you want the other designer wrapping sold at the store).Despite the mall atmosphere being sonically overwhelming, this definitely one of my favorite Exclusive Books branches.

Beautiful shop, great selection, lovely staff, though I wish somebody would ask the ominous security guard to stop following customers around the store. Reading a thriller is much pleasanter than living in one.

There's nothing I don't like about this place. Okay, maybe the fact that they closed off the Seattle coz I liked the loungey vibe inside the book shop but I know they had their reasons. Just attended a book launch. First class!

One of my favourite branches of Exclusive Books. As usual, staff are always friendly and incredibly helpful. They're also very knowledgeable and are great with recommendations. The store is always buzzing with activity -- there's a coffee shop and a reading area -- but it still maintains the quiet and calm of a book store. I like the themed table displays and promotions. Helpful to see what's trending and/or would be good as a gift. Also enjoy the occasional book launches that are hosted, theres usually plenty drinks and snacks

My experience was amazing! I received the best help ever from one of the sales ladies. So sad I never asked her name. When I got home with my purchases. One of the books I bought. It's cover seperated completely from the book. No chance to bring it back as the family I bought it for departs for America tomorrow. Thank you. Ree Richardson

The staff at this branch are always helpful, friendly and well informed. The range of books is comprehensive and interesting. They host delightful book events, such as the recent one where Barbara Fairhead launched her latest book, the epic poem Rio Abajo Rio, with Jacques Coetzee as her interlocutor. The coffee shop is a welcome addition where you can make a selection before you purchase.
